Does anyone know of the best deal glasses site for strong perscriptions? They all tack on extra fees for my needs [-9.00] (understandably) but I just like to find a good deal on a spare pair. For example my perscription adds $98 on this site.
Did you try the goggles 4 U offer she posted about a week ago that was a great deal for an extra pair or two. Not sure if you can still get the deal though. You could get one tinted for sunglasses and one without. Good luck.
Try Zenni Optical. I don’t think they charge that much for a higher script.
Zenni is still 35.95 or 79.95 standard or 49.95 with no glare for just the lenses. And I think they make their own frames which has me a little concerned since I’m not getting them super cheap (again understandably but it makes me look at these “cheap” sites a little differently then if i were getting them for less)
Thankfully my husband’s employer gives a substantial discount so i’ll have to see what’s a better deal after my appointment this week.
Hey Anikka,
For someone in your situation the best code to use is either Spring100(orders over $219) or Spring50(orders over $129). I understand things get pricey with the high prescription. I did a demo order using the Damian Black w/ Clear frame and it brought the total to $123 with free shipping with the the thinner lenses.
Hope this is helpful,
Ben
hi, just wondering do i need to provide my eye exam report ?
Hi Michelle,
We don’t need your full exam report, but if you have a copy of your prescription that is usually very helpful with making sure all the information is correct. Also ask for your PD (pupilary distance).
Let me know if you have any other concerns/ questions,
Ben
