They will do a price adjustment, just bring in your receipt. Also for those military don’t forget to show your ID for an extra percent off!
Go in with your original receipt and ask them to do a return to put payment on a different card (HOME DEPOT GC or any other credit card etc…) It will print out a new receipt with today’s date and then you would be eligible for the rebate. HTH!!

Double check mulch color before you leave store–we ended up with several bags labeled red and they were brown! Bummer. Avoid this if possible!!

The paint rebates are valid on in store purchases. I just read the online ad it states: valid at all participating Home Depot locations.
They gave me the rebate slip at the store.
Also, Menards has 11% off this week & Home Depot will match with their online rebate
form.

Yes the 12 packs on special, each plant looks to be the size of 4″ pot.
Skip that dishwasher! Our son had one in a brand new house and they had to buy a new one because it just does not wash dishes. They came out dirty every time.

This brand of mulch is great! We bought 50 bags of the black color and all were perfect. Black mulch makes the plants “pop”. It’s the first year I bought black and am so glad I did.

Mulch color use seems to vary by location. I’m in Miami and the red is the popular choice here. My son is in Georgia and black seems to be the color of choice there. I find the red offsets the plants the nicest since red is the complementary color to green. I also think the red is the coolest color temperature wise so it’s better for our year round HOT temps! Black would probably raise the temps around the plants more but would be better in cooler areas. Also the red mulch has the menthol cypress eucalyptus smell that I think helps deter bugs. Does the black mulch smell like this?
How funny, I’m in Georgia like your son. I do see a lot of black mulch here, for the last couple of years. Red was the go to color for several years before that, and brown back in the day. 😀 I’ve had all of them in the past. I really couldn’t tell a difference in the smell this year using the black from what it was last year using the red.
Is this a good price for the mulch? We’re doing a large landscaping project over the summer wondering if we should buy now or wait for a possibly better price
The Home Depot Spring Black Friday price was $2 a bag. That’s the cheapest this brand ever sells for.
