Any one have this? I am interested in purchasing it just not to sure. I have 2 cats.

I have four cats and they all use this system. It’s sort of a pain to buy 2 items (the pellets AND pads) vs just a jug of litter, but there is no smell and the clean up is super simple so that’s the trade off, I guess!

I bought some cheap microfiber towels off of amazon and use them instead of the pads to save money. The towels work great and I just wash them…kind of like the old days with cloth diapers…

        • jenni4butterbear

          Thanks will try that

Best litter box system ever. Been using it for a decade. Not expensive when you consider you can get it for 22$ and you can always find coupons for pads and pellets. Chewy.com has good prices on them too. I was spending hours a day on my two cats litter box. This is almost no mainrabce. The pellets last one month easily and my cats go to the box all the time. One pad lasts a week. NO SMELL! It’s awesome. Way better than any liter systek and I have tried them all!

I have this litter box and have used it for over 3 years. By far it is the easiest, cheapest, least smelly and least dirty litter box I’ve every used (and I’ve used them all, from automated to every kind of litter material). It never smells and overall is so much cheaper. The pellets stay in the box and don’t go all over the floor like typical scoopable litter does. The pads and pellets are expensive at first but I only buy them every few months because they last so long! I have 2 cats and scoop once a day and change the pads about once a week.

Awesome to hear how well it works Sam! Thanks for the review!

    • jenni4butterbear

So true! Great review! I’ve tried every system too. The automatic one was so expensive and gross.

My cat used to kick up litter everywhere. We tried various types of boxes, the dome and with a cover. The best one is Clevercat, which can be easily replicated with a storage bin. Good luck to everyone

I fostered kittens and from personal experience can tell you this litter box was awesome. None of these pellets were tracked about the house and somehow it did not smell as bad as typical litter boxes. Heads up, though- I did read that some cats that have used typical scoopable litter since they were kittens might not like the pellets.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for sharing your experience Erica! Good to know!

    • jenni4butterbear

My cats always adjusted immediately to the pellets. I recently went back to the breeze systek Bc the regular litter was just too gross and too much time. Litter all over the house.
I was impressed that the makers improved the system. They made the pee holes smaller and the pellets don’t get stuck. Great ideas. Best system ever invented.

    We LOVE this system!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Glad to hear it!

I’ve had this and it’s much less mess than regular litter. But my cats will only pee in it and not poop! We’ve had it since January and there has been poop in it only one time. Any ideas?

    • thanks!

Maybe try a slower switch. Have the litter and box you used to use right next to this one and let your cats transition when ready. They may not like the pellets so maybe they don’t want to stay in it long enough to poop.

    • Smith0126

Also agree with slow switch, but don’t clean the old one. It may smell awful but I wouldn’t scoop or change it for as long as possible. They don’t want to use a dirty box.

    • Nikki

If you put their poop in it then they’ll understand that’s where it belongs

  7. Holly

I absolutely LOVE this. I would never go back to regular litter.

I received an email from Petsmart that said “4 days only spend $40, get a $5 coupon.” I have this litter system for my 2 cats and they made the transition with no problem. I don’t have a top on them (I have 2 next to each other) and they do get a lot of pellets tossed onto the floor. No big deal. This system is awesome! Mine like to pee in one and poop in the other. Go figure! Lol!

I’ve been using Breeze since it came on the market. It was used by one elderly cat with really sweaty paws and he ended up getting litter everywhere, until I smarted up. I would sprinkle a little scented powder or baking soda on the pellets. No more tracking litter around.
He has since passed and I now have a 1 1/2 yr old kitten with no sweaty feet and I haven’t had any problems with litter staying in her box. She likes lavender scent in her box. Her choice!

I’ve been cleaning litter boxes for decades and this is by far my favorite system. There is no urine smell whatsoever when using the litter breeze brand pads. I’ve tried some cheaper versions and had to change the pad sooner and they didn’t control the smell like the breeze pads. It doesn’t exactly cover kitty poo odor, it’s very hard to describe but you smell it initially and it fades quickly or we are scooping it. I wouldn’t say this is for someone who doesn’t want to scoop #2 daily or close to daily. The pad lasts us about a week before changing. I’ve priced it out and this system is less expensive for us than the clumping litter we used. I buy the pads and pellets in bulk and the pads run about $1 per pad that way. That’s $4 a month for the pad and changing the pellets once a month runs me about $7. I was spending way more than that on clumping litter every month and hated the tracking and dust. I recently added a litter genie (watched for a deal and used a coupon) and it takes very little effort now to maintain a clean, track free litter box. Once a month I wash the box out and change the pellets.

If anyone is interesting in trying this system out, Amazon also has it on sale for $29.99 right now– I believe it’s the same box pack– but I’m just gonna leave this here in case any of you aren’t able to access a printer, don’t have the store close by, etc. and want a little bit of savings still. It’s a little more than Petco price, but if you’re without a car or printer or store… perfect!!

    https://www.amazon.com/Tidy-Cats-Litter-Breeze-System/dp/B001411SK0?ie=UTF8&keywords=breeze%20litter&qid=1464489741&ref_=sr_1_95&sr=8-95

Also, weird and kinda gross helpful tip– don’t spend over and over on the pellets. Just shell out one time for 6mm or larger air soft pellets. They’re GREAT!!!! they’re available in bulk and non toxic. You get them and put them in there, and if you have to, you can soak in a bucket, spray off outside, or even rinse in the shower if you’re comfortable with it. Kitties do occasionally have diarrhea etc and you’ll lose a few pellets scoops the poop, but they allow the pee to fall through to the holes and into the pee pad. Also, for those who have the leaks around the corner where pee pads go, another great thing is to buy a pack of puppy pads– and place one UNDER the kitty pee pad. It catches corner leaks. You may have to cut it down a little but they’re cheap and help. Don’t use puppy pads for just catching pee though. It really wont save ya in the long run. It’s just a nice helper for the corner leaks and you can put it under the other pad.
