How does it work when you say “money maker?” I had a coupon for free 7th generation laundry detergent, and it was less than $13. The cashier said they charge the price against the coupon, and doesn’t give me the difference. How is that a money maker? Thanks.
Hi Riss! Yes, you are correct in that the Target Coupon Policy states “We do not give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item.”
However, in the deal scenarios above, you are making money with your purchase by taking advantage of cash back offers from both Ibotta and Checkout51. Let me know if this makes sense!
Thanks for the explanation, Collin. Still trying to learn the art and science of couponing,😊
You are so welcome! Happy to help! 😀
Customer service would not let me use the coupon when I price matched. Two employees refused to do it (they were nice, but stern about it). I had my little one with me and couldn’t continue to go back and forth. Hope you guys have better luck!
I have the same experience. They either allow you to do price match or use coupon. Not both.
How frustrating! The Target Price Match Policy actually states “Manufacturer coupons will be applied after a price match is made.” You may want to bookmark this policy on your phone so you can pull it up the next time you attempt to price match at your Target store.
Most definitely! Just did this deal at target and they wanted to deny my coupon. I showed them the price match policy on my phone.
Dirty rats
Bookmarked 😎
My local Target doesn’t let you use manufacturer coupons when you price match. I’ve showed them the policy, but they just say you can choose one or the other!
Thank you Collin. I went to Target couple of days back and as expected they denied using coupon after price match. I had the price match policy up on my cell so I showed it to first associate who still denied allowing the coupon and asked her manager to look at it. He also denied it at first but when he read the policy he agreed to allow the coupon. He said the policy may have changed recently and the Target as a company are always late notifying such changes to stores. But anyways my attempt was successful this time so Thanks again.
I’ve couponed for this multiple times and it’s great for dry skin or any general skin irritation.
Awesome! Thanks for the feedback Ashley!
The last few receipts I’ve submitted to Checkout 51 have not approved due to using manufacture coupon on the item. Anyone else notice this lately?
Some offers do state cannot be combined with coupons. Always read the offer in full, top to bottom, that’s where the limitation is, if any.
I have no problems submitting items on Checkout 51 purchased with manufacturer coupons.
I just claimed (and got approved of) my $4.00 from Checkout 51, coupon and all. It’s like a free item after coupon, cartwheel, ibotta and Checkout 51! Ok, my out of pocket was 4 cents (thank you, California sales tax) Thank you, Collin ☺
I bought this a few weeks ago when you posted a deal at CVS. I also bought a Ninja blender from Wal-Mart that you posted about and cut my hand washing the blade. Stupid, careless mistake. Anyway, this cream was amazing!!!! Once I started adding this cream, it healed so quickly.
So glad you are ok! Thanks for sharing your experience Carmen!
Does anyone know if this works the same as the California baby calendula cream?
I doubt it. Both coupon and Cartwheel specified the brand Boiron.
In my store , Chicago il, doesn’t price match
show them target price match policy.
Hi. If you look on boironusa.com there’s a $5/1 coupon as well. Not sure if you can combine this with that $2/1 but that’ll make this a $5 money maker.
I dont see the $5/1 coupon
Did anyone else find the $5 off coupon on boironusa.com?
FYI amazon has it for $6.65 if they will match it to the subscribe and save price (my target has done that). It’s probably a ymmv though.
