We have had this for about a year and a half now and have only used it about 5 times. The last two times we tried to use it, it leaked the water from the solution chamber all over our floor. It worked great before but now we can’t use it unless we spray the stuff directly on the floor and leave that part completely off. I would suggest a different brand. Just my experience.

I love Hoover. It is all my Mom ever used and I made the mistake of trying another brand that was on a Black Friday sale. It was awful and I immediately bought a Hoover. I love it and I don’t have any of the issues mentioned in the comment above. Neither do my mom or sister-in-law. I’m willing to bet that the above commentor has a unit with a broken valve it tube. It sucks that it happened to them but I think that issue is more of a fluke and not a widespread problem with the brand. I have the Hoover that had power surge for really dirty carpets and I really like that feature! It may be worth upgrading.

I’ve had mine for about two years now and absolutely love it! I don’t know what I would do without it. It’s so easy to operate, empty, clean, etc. It does sound like nikki, the 1st commenter, has a part that is broken which is unfortunate but this really is a great machine (and lifesaver!)

I bought this for a similar price from kohls a few months ago. I am very happy with it, it’s great for cleaning up kids messes or the cup of coffee that got spilled and just to freshen up carpet. It is MUCH lighter and easier to move than the one my mom has, hers is a Hoover, but a different model. It may not be ideal for someone who wants to clean their carpets a lot as its not heavy duty but I like it and it works great for me.
