I would not use this shampoo. It is filled with chemicals and not good for your hair.
All shampoos are filled with chemicals. This one is no different than any other shampoo. It’s fine to use.
Unless you go totally organic – it has chemicals. Our food, cleansers, personally products, even the air we breathe. The list is endless! This is not news….
Chemicals that have gone through rigorous testing to get approved. Some are dangerous with long term exposure but v05 isn’t really that high on the list when it comes to those things. It’s one thing to be informed but you can’t go through life paranoid about your shampoo ingredients.

My kids use it but I don’t. I prefer Pantene or suave.
I use it as a back up. The new tea infused ones are gentle and smell great. Use as a stripper, or have lots of product in your hair. Not good for continuous use.

I hated this brand as a teen because it would make my hair dry and frizzy. So I haven’t been buying it since! Now I do DIY shampoos and conditioners… and love the results!

How long do you have to use the offer?
I use the clarifying one once a week. It does dry your hair a bit but my hair is cleaner than with other high end shampoos I feel. I use a little conditioner after and it’s good.

VO5 is good for the whole co-washing thing where you wash your hair with conditioner. It’s thin enough to not weigh your hair down and the conditioners, at least, have decent ingredients.
