Home Depot: New BEHR Paint Rebate Available
UPDATE: You can also score a similar $10-$40 Rebate from Lowe’s! (Thanks MollyT!)
Planning a painting project?
Through July 6th, The Home Depot is offering up a $10 rebate via Prepaid MasterCard on most 1-gallon cans AND a $40 rebate on 5-gallon buckets of BEHR paint and stain products with the rebate form here. If shopping online, choose free in-store pickup when available, otherwise shipping is free on most orders $45+.
Please note: Depending on what you buy, you could possibly save more when purchasing five, 1-gallon buckets instead of one, 5-gallon bucket since the total savings would be $50 for 5 individual cans instead of just $40 for one bucket with 5 gallons of paint.
(Thanks, Mark!)
Is there a limit to how many rebates you can claim?
I do not see a limit listed in the details and it does state that “multiple UPC numbers may be written on a separate paper and attached to this form” Hope this helps!
Love Behr paint! What a great deal! Thank you!
You’re welcome!
We love Behr too! Better get color searching for redoing our bathrooms!
How exciting! Thanks for the feedback! 😉
Please do not buy Behr deck over: read reviews first! It ruined my deck. Too thick and looks like stucco now. So upset my deck is ruined. Behr returned all the money I paid for paint (5 gallons) but my deck is ruined. Just an FYI.
Oh bummer 🙁 Sorry to hear it did not work well for your deck! Thanks for sharing your experience!
I heard they changed their formula and now painted walls feel sticky months later.
I bought Behr interior semi-glass and painted our spare room in the fall. It’s definitely different than years past! Awful, I need to paint over it this year. I switched over to Valspar for the bedroom and bathroom and it’s markedly better.
Weird. We just painted our whole house in eggshell and satin and the walls aren’t sticky at all.
Looks like the rebate includes Glidden as well.
i needed a gallon of paint, sadly bought it yesterday before rebate dates.
It happened to me last time. I just took my receipt and they refunded and rang back up with the correct date
Collin, thank you so much for posting this! Unfortunately my holiday vacay plans bombed at the last minute so I decided I will paint my bathroom since I will be stuck at home and have the time off work anyway. Now I get a $10 gc! Awesome!
Aww, So glad you can score this deal Gina! You’re welcome!
The same rebate is going at Lowe’s
awww come on.I bought some pint from Home Depot 5 days ago…Can’t you include that?
trying to find where my paint rebate stands but no luck
Update to my comment from yesterday, I am 100% satisfied! Just heard from Parago rebate is on the way for the 5 gallons we purchased. To Eark Rickey, don’t give up, keep sending them messages and or calling them.
We do prefer BEHR paints, (have for many years),, but getting the rebates recently, has been difficult. We did finally get the Memorial Day rebate on 3 gallons, but we purchased 5 gallons at the Red, White, and Blue-July 4th offer and still are getting the run arounds. Will keep you informed here, when we hear more., latest is from our 3rd contact with the: rebateinquiry@parago.com.
We did hear back from them, and the $50 rebate is on it’s way to us for the 5 gallons we purchased at Red, White, and Blue, July 4th offer. Guess it just takes plenty of communication and a little patience. We will be purchasing more of the good BEHR paint from Home Depot for next painting project!
I sent in my rebate before July 10th and it is now October 5 and I have not received my rebate yet. I bought 4, 5 gallon pales on July 4th for a rebate of 160 dollars. I guess its my turn to start complaining along with the rest. Wish me luck!!!!!
Darn! So sorry to hear that! Hoping this is resolved for you soon!
I guess I’ll add my 2 cents as well to let others know they’re not alone in having difficulty getting the Red, White, and Blue rebate. After not having received the rebate & several contacts with the rebate center, I was told my rebate ($90) was on its way. It finally came on Thursday, and it was only for $50. After 2 more contacts with the rebate center, I was told the 5-gallon bucket didn’t qualify, because the receipt shows only regular Behr paint instead of Premium Plus as the bucket clearly shows, and the UPC shows when typed into Google. They won’t even listen to me, accept a picture of the bucket, or Google the UPC code… so after calling Home Depot customer service, I was told to try to go into the store and talk to customer service there. It’s so frustrating. You buy paint expecting Home Depot to live up to their end of the bargain, but it seems like many of us (according to the Home Depot customer service gentleman) are having issues with the rebate center. I’m very close to contacting the Better Business Bureau, but I don’t want to complain against the store – it’s not their fault. :/
Sorry to hear about your experience Sara. Hoping you can receive the rest of your rebate soon!
Thanks! I did go into my local store with my bucket of paint and original online slip to talk to customer service about the problem. The rebate company absolutely refused to do anything, but my local store at least agreed to give me the rest of the rebate amount off an in-store purchase of that amount ($40) or more. They wanted me to spend at least twice that, though, to get the $40 off, but in the end I spent $50, and they did approve (with a manager) giving me the $40 off. Although it’s not the same as having the money to spend anywhere I wanted, I did want to paint my front door eventually, so I was able to get the paint & supplies I needed for that job for just about $10. Both my local store and Home Depot online said they’ve had a terrible time with this paint rebate. It apparently doesn’t come from them, but it comes from the manufacturers of the paint who offer the rebate to Home Depot who then offers it to the customers. There is a 3rd party that handles the rebates for the manufacturers, and they are the ones who are causing the issue. For anyone else having problems, I would both call the 800 number so they know about the issue, and then take everything (your proof) to your local Home Depot and talk to a manager in customer service. They seem to be aware of the problem, and at least in my case, were willing to do the best they could to make it right.
Still waiting on my paint rebate from Sept 4th. Looks like Home Depot has a record of deception
Darn! Have you been able to contact them?
mailed rebatel in July 3rd, have not gotten rebate nor have I heard anything. Do you have a phone number I can call to inquire
