  Hi Mark! Because one will ring up at $6 and one will ring up at $3 after the B1G1 50% off sale, you will need to use one of each (otherwise the $4/1 will be over the price of the one on sale for $3). I hope this helps!

   Does anyone know if these are considered part of the health and beauty (obviously not beauty) to get the 5000 points after spending $25?

  No, they are not. They are only health. The promo is for beauty and personal care. It is the total amount that matters with Walgreens. So, yes you can use two of the 4/1s because their total value is still less than the total value of the same items. So, they are 50 cents and not 1 dollar.

   My ad just shows the 2/$12 price. Is the B1G1 50% off possibly regional or an unadvertised deal?
