You can also buy pregnancy tests at Dollar Tree for $1 and they work! Found out I was pregnant with all 3 of my babies with them!
Same here… Dollar tree work great!
I agree! Found out with this one at 4 weeks at night! Usually tests wouldn’t have picked that up!
Yes they do and so did I!
Yes agree!! Me too! Pregnancy tests at the dollar tree are very accurate!
Dollar store tests! Or the individually wrapped strips & ovulation strips from Amazon.
I disagree to some extent with the dollar store vs. first response tests being comparable. In my opinion the first response tests are much more sensitive and allow you to test earlier. With my first two pregnancies I used first response and ept and got my positives right away (even though one was several days before I expected my period) I bought dollar store ones with my most recent pregnancy… Tested 3 days before expected period – negative… Tested day of expected period-negative… Finally tested almost a Week after my period was suppose to come (because it still hadn’t) and finally got my positive. So in my experience, they are “accurate” only after your period is missed but if you are super inpatient like me splurge on the name brand π
The new FR have horrible indent lines that almost look positive :/. The old ones (expiring before 2015) were much more reliable.
I’ve always used Dollar Tree or the cheap strips from Amazon (25 for $12)…and there was a very faint line a couple days before my missed period with those (as long as I did it first thing when I woke up). Most of those pick up the pregnancy hormone (hCG) at 25 mIU/mL, and First Response detects it at 6.3 mIU/mL. Anything over 5 mIU/mL is considered positive. So FR would most likely give you a positive result a couple more days in advance of the others.
