Jennifer actually went to her local Walmart store because the Walmart Inventory Checker said there were 2 or more in stock at this low price and they actually had 19 in stock – not even the employees knew about this amazing deal!

Mine claims to have some in inventory, but when I went the lady claimed the system was down and wouldn’t look up for me. She also claimed they didn’t have any of that model.

Very odd. I checked inventory in four states. All are completely zeroed out. I believe this was a glitch and walmart realized their mistake.
No glitch. My Walmart actually had them marked at the super discounted price. I bought all 5 (2 minis at $89 and 3 airs at $139). Inventory checker said they were out of all of them except one. But they guy opened the cabinet and angels flew out!!!

All but one store near me shows them out of stock and the price shows $59. The one showing them in stock shows a price of $149. Any chance the pricing for the $149 is wrong, lol? I hate to call and ask as this will tip off the associates 🙂

Went to the store in the electronics dept. Didn’t even have to tell them the model. They just said they don’t have any. Went over to the cabinet where they are stored and the worker closed the cabinet door and said “we’re not supposed to let customers look at what we have.” Inventory checker said there were 2 or more in stock. Really odd. She said “I swear on my job no one is hiding them. We simply don’t have them.” Guess they must have had a lot of inquiries because I didn’t even have to tell her which model I was looking for. I drove about 15 miles but that’s okay. I got back-to-school supplies while there.
We just called ours that was about 40 minutes away that said it had some available and the woman said it was fake 🙁
Check all apple products. They seem to be on rollback to clear out stock for the new releases in September. I was looking for a new phone last week and then again last night. They all jumped down around $200 in price and I snagged one. But they are selling out so quickly right now.

It said out of stock at my store in Ohio but because I live so close and need to replace mine I went anyways. They had 1 left at $149 so I was happy to pay that. If you need one & live close to a Walmart go check!

Yes I did on brick seek. It said zero for all stores around me. I went in anyways and asked for the iPad Air 16gb. Didn’t mention the item number.

Checked store in Lake Charles and surrounding. Went to one store they said they never were that price, smh! Getting a manager in another city to check farther for me!

Checked several Walmart stores in MO and only one store out of 7 had any and they were full price. None of the stores said they even had any at any time or were ever on sale. Weird.

It’s an older model and only 16GB of storage. You cannot add a memory card to iPads so you are stuck with the 16GB. Not worth it for $149 in mi opinion.

For those of you wondering about the $149 price. My co-worker bought hers last week at Sam’s for $99. You might check out Sam’s before paying $149. It could have been a different model, though.
It’s $325 on the website for me and it is sold by a different vender, not Walmart. No iPad for me. Wish I had of checked the electronics department during the last shopping trip.
Which ipad is it specifically? Mine said it was in stock, but the associate said there was none. Is it a mini? I will check later and be more specific if I can figure out which one it is.

I spoke to my friend who is a store Manager for the site to store section, she said if you do site to store where the store has it listed for a lower price they will refund you the difference. I tried it with the $299 listed one (I no longer see on the website) coming from walmart.com, if it doesn’t work out i can always return it. 🙂

Yes I drove to South Gate, CA earlier this morning and they had none, despite what was listed. Also said website information was “fraudulent”.
I went to south gate. They had all ipads covered by taped up paper. I asked for the iPad Air and they said they weren’t selling any iPads because management told them not to. I asked why & they said it was a pricing error. It’s pretty clear that the employees are keeping it for themselves. Management can do whatever they want in any store unfortunately. I stood there and called into Walmart and complained and was told that management can do whatever they want in their store. It’s pretty funny how they weren’t selling ANY iPads. After an hour of being on hold and talking to various customer service reps on the phone., the employees started offering me a $600 iPad 2. It’s pretty funny how I had a security guard and 5 employees around me. They think I’m stupid by offering me the iPad 2. Then they think I’m a criminal by sending five employees and a security guard after me. The security guard followed me for about half an hour. I didn’t even make the scene I was very calm. Frustrating. How are they even allowed to tape up an area?

Brookhaven …about 20 minutes from McComb. It does say limited stock so I’m not sure about how many they have. I’m debating on whether to drive the 10 minutes in or not. Is $149 a good price?

The Walmart I came to would not honor this and said that Walmart does not price match with other Walmarts. Also, the assistant store manager said that they are not familiar with Hip2Save and are not part of the online stores or websites that they honor.

I didn’t have them check the price bcus the inventory list told me the price. 😊 Plus thy would have bought them they self if thy knew the price. Thts what the cashier told me in electronics. My iPad got shattered the other day so I took a chance and drove 45 mins to the only Walmart nearby that showed they had any in stock. We got there and asked and the employee just put his head down and sighed really hard and then gave us a huge exasperated speech about how they don’t have any, haven’t had any in a long time, and don’t know why people keep asking for them. And then another employee jumped in and gave us an attitude about it. All we did was ask a question. But apparently they don’t carry anything but the mini and the pro. The website still shows they have several available, but don’t bother going to the Beach Blvd Walmart in Jax unless you want to leave with a tongue lashing and very disappointed.
Jennifer – I went to the Beach Blvd. Walmart as well and they were so rude. He said Hip2save was a fraudulent site. Gasp!!!! You don’t insult Collin and my favorite website that way. He told me that they would never mark them down because it is owned by Apple and not Walmart. I told him that others had found them in other Walmart stores and he told me that it was impossible. He was not helpful and at all and wouldn’t even look up the sku number. It showed that they had stock before, but now it shows that they are out of stock. Someone got a great deal!!!!! Terrible customer service…..
teacherthatcoupons- Yep, that sounds just like the guy we had!! I think HE got a great deal at the end of the day 😮 We had a funny suspicion about him and almost went to customer service to pursue it, but decided to just leave instead. It wasn’t worth it!
