The mechanical pencils are already on sale. I did not see them in this week’s ad but found them online and went into my local Staples and they were on sale so I bought 10 boxes!!!. Great deal on mechanical pencils with grippers😊

Will Staples price match the filler paper penny deal since it is Office Depot store brand?
I don’t know if staples will but my Walmart will and they don’t make me do the $5 purchase. Not that I ever leave that dang store without spending $5😕

I have done the staples price matching at least twice this week. Today, I was faced with a cashier and manager who had it all wrong. I showed them the paper for Office Max and asked for the price match. They both said they couldn’t give me the markers because my total wasn’t over $5. I told them (politely) that the $5 limit was only for the penny deals.. neither were budging, even after I told them I had been in earlier that week. I didn’t bother arguing, it just gets frustrating when those in the store don’t know how things work (especially managers).
Staples only PM the school supplies that I purchased last week at 100%. It was still a good deal!
Just a heads up on the rulers – these Wescott ones do not have both inches and centimeters – make sure you know if that is a requirement for yours before buying if you’re ruler shopping 😀

Bummer! The Henreitta store is the one closest to me! I haven’t tried to do any price matching, and don’t think I will if they give you a problem. 🙁
I live in Fort Worth Texas, and Staples nor Office Depot would match each other’s ads last week. They said “we don’t match super deals!” I was very disappointed. Why say you price match if you don’t????
