I actually bought this on Hollar, last week, for $3.
I see that… Sold out though… I’ll have to keep my eye on it to see if it restocks.
It is back in stock, but note that it is not the exact same one as featured in this posting. I googled and the reviews of the one on hollar are not as good as the one posted here.
Does this actually work?
There’s some reviews with videos. They look like they work.
My kids tore through ours and broke it pretty quickly. ๐ฅ
My parents have this at their cottage and it does work well most times but not great when it’s windy. Overall we love it though
Thanks for the feedback Michelle! We sure do appreciate it!
Do not wais your money!!! Not even a week and it was in pieces, with kids coming in and out especially!!!:(
Oh darn! Sorry to hear it did not hold up well ๐ Thanks for the honest review!
I purchased the as seen on TV brand at a discount store for around $9.
In theory it work well, I mean, if you are just using it as a screen to keep bugs out of an open doorway, it’s great! However, they just are not durable enough for going in and out of – moving thru a doorway… actually using. By the time you have used enough force to push the magnets open, to walk thru the screen, you have either torn the screen from the wall attachments, or just simply torn thru the screen. Bummer, because I had high hopes for our side garage door…
If you purchased one of these, I would recommend rethinking how you anchor it to the wall… perhaps attach it to a series of wooden yard sticks before nailing it to the wall, to add more support / force distribution? The tape and screws, just aren’t enough.
