I would say at least eight with space between and room for a bag each. We got it for our family of five, put two queen size air mattresses in half of it, a small folding table and chairs, 3 drawer storage unit, fan, large cooler, bags and a huge tote on the other side with plenty of room to walk around. Tip: we bought one of the little paper decorative lanterns with the LED tealight in it to hang in the middle for a nightlight so I didn’t have to leave something plugged in all night. This tent it very large and easy to set up 🙂
