How many times can I do this deal with one member card at Walgreens?

    • Tammy S

      From Walgreens website

      Earning Register Rewardsยฎ/Savings Rewards

Register Rewards/Savings Rewards will only print for in-stock merchandise during the promotional period.

Register Rewards/Savings Rewards can only be earned for eligible items. No substitutions are permitted.

There is a limit of one Register Rewards/Savings Rewards coupon per offer per customer per transaction.

Customers redeeming a Register Rewards/Savings Rewards against the same offer may not receive another Register Rewards/Savings Rewards coupon.

Hey Collin, is there a limit on this per card?

    • Crystal

Rebecca & Tiesha. The limit is one per card. See what Tammy added above?

It is actually unlimited (unless limited by coupon). Just make sure you are doing separate transactions for each one as it would only give 1 reward per transaction

    • Tammy S

That’s right, that’s what “per transaction” means. However, some stores limit how many separate transactions they will allow. They probably don’t want someone holding up the line to be checked out 10 separate times, I’m guessing. But if you want to go back to the store and/or get back in line each time, that will work.

But my question is how often are you supposed to use a printable coupon? Do they really want you using an unlimited number of them? Can you? If so, why do they limit how many times they may be clipped and printed? Is getting around that dishonest? I printed off my limit once before (2 copies) and my Walgreens said my second coupon wouldn’t be accepted by the register. Not sure why that happened. She said it is reading it as identical. At that time there weren’t register rewards (it was a Tide deal with Bonus points) and she said I couldn’t use the coupon on my second Tide. But I had to purchase them together to get to my bonus amount.

Tammy, you can only print a coupon a certain number of times that the website allows you to, but you can use different computers/smartphones to print more coupons (example: 2 different computers = 4 coupons total). You can use those coupons at Walgreens during a single transaction because each of them are coded differently even though they will have the same scanning barcode. But with this specific deal you will only want to purchase 1 toothpaste per transaction because only 1 RR will print for the toothpaste no matter how many you buy at once. And DO NOT use that RR to purchase another toothpaste because the computer will NOT print another RR. In other words, you can’t use a RR from a specific brand/product (toothpaste for example) to purchase that same brand/product (toothpaste) with the previous RR. Use the RR for some other deal. They can’t limit you to 1 toothpaste coupon per transaction unless the coupon specifically states only 1 coupon per TRANSACTION. Most coupons state only 1 coupon per purchase though, which means 1 coupon per item. Example, 3 similar coupons can be use to buy 3 toothpastes.

Hope that helps! Good luck couponing!

Okay, i probably should have used two different computers. I only wanted to use two coupons so it wasn’t like i was trying to get away with anything (plus it let me print two). Thanks!

        • mraster

No problem Tammy, it’s a lot to understand, but once you learn it, it’s easier to figure out how to do the deals to save the most. You can always print more of the coupon on a different computer, as long as it is still available to print. Use as many coupons as you can to get the deals!!
