Grill press is out of stock. Bummer.

When I clicked the link above, it said it was out of stock but when I searched for grill press, it was in stock and I was able to order it.

How do u use a grill press?

        • Jennifer

You just set it on top of whatever item you want to keep flat (bacon) or to weigh down (burgers)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bummer! Thanks for the heads up!

Grill press is still available for me…

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How odd as it still states “Not available” for me when clicking through. Glad you were able to grab it!

Would these pans be ok on a ceramic cook top?

    • Suzanne H

I don’t think so. I think they would scratch up the surface.

    • momif6

I use cast iron on my glass cook top stove. You just need to make sure you heat it fully and gradually.

I have two of the nonstick grill baskets – they are wonderful for cooking sliced veggies on the grill. I highly recommend them.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome! Thanks for the great review Suzanne! I sure do appreciate it!

Can the Dutch oven be used for camping? The kind you put coals on??

    • Kate L

I was thinking about getting it, but then I read the reviews. The reviews indicate that this Dutch oven rusts very easily. I am going to get the King kooker Dutch oven from Kmart for camping, they are on sale right now.

I am brand new to cooking with any depth, and I am old. Suddenly, I am “on fire” for cooking, trying recipes and using all the products I bought , related to such, in the last 25 years (no action until now). I just purchased (brand new) Bobby Flay dutch oven at discount, secondary to no box, no instructions, etc.. I do understand that most cast iron (I believe it is of this genre???), needs to be seasoned. I also purchased cast iron skillet (pre-seasoned..food network label), re seasoned after use without issue. This dutch oven has turned very expensive bone broth/stock, green…yuk!, chicken broth/stock turned dark brown…yuk, as well. I have made these things successfully with very good results two times before. After the nausea from the discolorations, noted when I wiped out, continuous black film on non-lint dish towel then used paper towel…it won’t stop. Please kind, knowledgeable
chefs, cooks etc., what have I done wrong? Thank you for any input, I have looked everywhere on line to no avail.
    Sincerely,
VictoriaMD (aka don’t want to poison my guests with “film”)
