Scrambled States of America Game Only $9.61 – Why Lina LOVES This Game
Looking for a fun and educational game for the entire family? Head on over to Amazon.com or Walmart.com where you can score this VERY highly rated Scrambled States of America Game for only $9.61 (regularly $14.99).
Here’s what Hip’s Modern Martha, Lina, had to say about this game…
It’s a fast moving geography game – my son has to memorize states and capitals this year, so I bought it to help! It’s actually helped all of us! Everyone gets 5 state cards and then you draw questions like “A state that touches the Pacific Ocean” or “A state capital with two words.” The first person to touch and yell a state card they have that meets the requirements wins the round and whoever wins the most rounds wins the game. They give you maps to reference and it’s a pretty fun family game!

To reinforce learning even more, Lina was able to grab the whiteboard pictured above at the One Spot inside her local Target store for just $3! What a great find that pairs perfectly with the game above!
The Scrambled States of America book is currently one of the Kohls Cares books along with Clifford. My preschooler loves it, so I’m excited to order the game!
We have the book…was unaware of the game.
What is a good age for the game? (I am thinking of getting it for my niece, but don’t know if she’s too young.)
Get it anyways and save it for a gift 😉
It says 8 and above, and my kids are 8 and 10. I think they could be a little younger though. 🙂
I bought this game about a month ago for my 5 year old. There are rules for playing with early readers and he loves it!
When my daughter was in elementary school she loved this book.
Kohls has this game too for $12.99 before any coupons
Yes, and if you are a cardholder you can use the code splurge30 for 30% off. Took off $3.90 for me
Is the whiteboard still available at Target, or did Lina get it a long time ago? Thank you!!!!!!!
I bought mine this week! 🙂 Near the front with dollar items from Target. My son’s teacher has them all over her classroom for them to practice and she told me about them-So fun. 🙂
Thank you!!!
On my way to Target . . . . . .
My boys ages 9 and 7 love this game!! We all love playing together! They know their capitals so well now too!
Thanks for posting! I never heard of this game, but my son is obsessed with states. He’s going to LOVE this. Also ordered the book someone above mentioned at Kohl’s. This is going to be a perfect gift for him!

It’s perfect! My daughter had to know all her 50 nifty states in 5th grade and my son is in fourth now. I think I’m gonna jump on this deal!
Never heard of it, but looks neat! I have a 2nd grader and a 4th grader who love games…this will be perfect! I got the game from kohls at 30% off and free shipping and then the book also…..grand total was $15.08 for both…..not bad!
The book and DVD are excellent! My kids will love the game.
Does anyone know if there is a difference between the Kohls Cares version of the book compared to the original? TIA
We’re going over the states in homeschool this year so I bought this game. My 5 year old LOVES it. There are ways to make it work for early readers. She has learned not only the states and capitals but also their location and about syllables (some cards ask for state names with x-amount of syllables). It’s also one that I don’t mind playing. Highly recommend!
Thank you for sharing. I just ordered one for my 6 year old son. Glad to know the younger kids can have fun with it too.
Got it…thank you!!!
My kids LOVE this game (age 12, 11, 7)
