Calling all Kmart shoppers! If you haven’t already, download the free Kmart app for Android or IOS, set up your account, and then go to the home page of the app and scroll down to the “Friday fix” section.

Once you click this section, you should be able to load a coupon valid for one FREE package of Smart Sense Party Plates – 24 Count (expires Sunday, August 28th). To redeem at your local Kmart, just have your cashier scan the coupon at checkout.

        Hi Jen & Megan! I’ve found that the Kmart app is often a little temperamental with the Friday Freebie. I was able to add it to my account. Be sure to check back a little later as they sometimes are having technical difficulties that will cause it to show as sold out. ๐Ÿ™‚

      “Sorry, it looks like you’ve either used this or it’s sold out” = same message as last week for me. I tried to load it periodically last week (I checked about every 3 hours or so) and was never able to load it. I’ll try again this week. I like little plates. ๐Ÿ™‚

        I tried un-installing the app and then re-installing it, but it still would not allow me to load the coupon.
        I’m wondering if it is fussing because June 17th they offered the same deal and I redeemed it. Perhaps it is remembering … I don’t know.
        I’ll continue trying to load the coupon again for this week …

          I called Kmart Customer Service this morning and she said that she would put in a ticket for the Tech Dept to look into it. She said to check back in 2 – 3 hours. It’s been 4 hours. The coupon is still not available for me.

            I called Kmart Customer Service Again and was told that the reason that the coupon would not load is because I needed to be In the store and the store associate could load it for me. Um. Doesn’t that kind of defeat the purpose of an App? She also transferred me to Shop Your Way customer service who told me that they are Shop Your Way, Not Kmart, so they can not help with the Kmart App, only the Shop Your Way App. I can load Other coupons on my Kmart app on my android, but Not the Friday Fix. Hopefully Kmart will fix the problem soon.

              I took the Shop Your Way associate’s advice and called Kmart Customer Service back and asked to speak to a Supervisor (not sure if that is really who they transferred me to or not) and asked her to notify the Tech Department of the problem specifically with android users redeeming the Friday Fix coupon. She said that it was probably due to tornadoes in Michigan last week. That doesn’t explain why iphones can load the coupon, but my android can not. I’m simply asking you to alert Technical Support that there is a problem with the Friday Fix on the Kmart App. She was not as helpful as I would have liked.

    I’ve grown to loathe Kmart. I had the same issue trying to load the coupon, says I’ve used it or its sold out. On top of that, I constantly get emails telling me I have surprise points or offers that never actually show up in my account, too. I’ve ordered items online for in-store pick up that end up being out of stock when I arrive to pick it up, or the items are damaged (once got a box of used, broken, taped up colored pencils). I could go on and on.. I’ve completely given up on them. I thought I’d try again for this free offer, silly me – should have known!

      Darn! Sorry to hear about that Kristin! Thanks so much for sharing your experiences with Kmart. For this coupon, if you decide to try again, maybe check back later. It can be tricky to grab each week and will sometimes pop up later on if you do not grab it on the first try. Hope this helps!

      Kristin I have had the same issues. Once I ordered 5 storage bins. You would not believe they came in broken and had chewed on sunflower seed shells just thrown in there!! It was so disgusting!

    How do I find coupon once I add it to my account? I find his app difficult to navigate.

      Depending on the phone you have, but you can probably find it by going to “my coupons” => “loaded coupons”.

    Kmart needs to fix this. I think loading the coupon works on iphones, but not on Android phones. (Sadly, mine is an Android.)

      Yes, it can be frustrating to grab this one! Be sure to check back again if you don’t grab it on the first attempt!

    I can’t even log in to my kmart app. I try to reset password but nothing happens when I click the link in email. On top of that, I’m unable to chat with them to resolve the problem. The app is as frustrating and unhelpful as my local store.

    The Friday Fix hasn’t been working for the past 3 weeks. There’s no tech support for it. They updated the app this past week so, the savings portion of the app works again.
    My friend has an i-phone and it worked for her. Android for some reason does not work with the Friday fix. They need to fix that ASAP. At least she let me borrow her i-phone and I was able to log into my account and add it. Now, when I log onto my android, it is there loaded. So, it looks like an android issue and not an entire app issue.

      Thank you for the thoughtful suggestion. I have an android and Used to be able to load the coupons, but have not been able to for the past couple of weeks. Thank you for giving me a better description of what is going on than Kmart Customer Service who just tell me to clear my browsing history and it should work. Tried it. Nope, didn’t work. Thank you for letting me know it’s my phone, not me. ๐Ÿ™‚

        I have an android as well and the dread “:Sorry you redeemed or it is sold out” message pops up. The changeover is at 1am et. So, when I try it shortly thereafter, I know for a fact they can’t be sold out. I also know, when I try in the morning and the same message appears, it is something on their end.

        I called Kmart customer service up about this issue and they don’t have a clue about it. They thought I had trouble placing the order. The app was updated this past Wednesday because of a bug when you click on the “My coupons” tab and the thing kept loading but nothing would happen. They fixed that but not the Friday Fix issue. I then asked a friend who has an i-phone and it worked for her. So, clearly by process of elimination: must be an android issue.Once you log onto your account on an i-phone and load the coupon, when you log onto the app on android,you should see it loaded.

        There’s no contact info about the app or issues. They will transfer you to who knows what about placing an order but when you tell them you cannot load the coupon, they pause and don’t have a clue what to do.

    Thank you. It was loaded when I clicked on Friday Freebie. I have been able to get them with no problems, and I am using my IPhone.
