so if I buy them at walmart I could pay $5 for $15 worth of batteries?

    • Victoria

No. energizer is excluding the 4 largest retailers: Walmart, target, Home Depot and lowes.

  2. lisa

Is the $15 before or after coupons are used?

    • pandoraaddict

      Terms answer that.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The details list “Valid on purchases of $15 or more, before tax and after coupon savings” Hope this helps!

This sounds like the type of deal when it was for the candy. I had 2 and tried using them online and in the stores and nothing worked. The totals were under $5. I had to call them about it. They credited my paypal for 1 and they said the other one was used, which it wasn’t. All my transactions were denied, so I lost $5. I will never do the virtual gift cards again.

    • Michelle

Sophie I bought $5 Target gc with them. I know they can be very hard to use.

  4. Mandy

Ibotta has 2 bucks off energizer right now too

  5. Steph

Can I do both at same time?

  6. NolaGirl

I’ve tried this deal on previous occasions, and I’ve NEVER received my rebate.

    I’ll pass.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh bummer! Sorry to hear that 🙁 Thanks for the honest feedback!

Here’s the scenario that I did:
I went to my local Walmart today (October 9, 2016) and purchased the following:
Energizer Max AAA 16 pack batteries (price match with Walmart.com for $7.78) regular price: $10.97
Energizer Max AA 24 pack batteries (price match with Amazon.com for $9.99) regular price: $13.97
    Total: $17.77
    Use two $0.75 off one Energizer battery coupon from SS 10/09 ($17.77 – $1.50 = $16.27)
Receive up to two $5 gift cards ($5 Visa prepaid virtual card or $2 Visa physical card and a $5 Walmart gift card) and $4 from Ibotta ($2 for purchasing the 16 pack batteries and $2 for purchasing the 24 pack batteries from Walmart). Sweet! 🙂

My MIL just got $24 worth of batteries. I sent her the rebate info, but the $3 deduction sounds tricky. Is this even worth it since a few people have confirmed they never received it or has a hard time using the rebate. 🙁

    • Victoria

Walmart is one of energizers excluded retailers for this rebate

  8. Laterri Hunter

Id like to win gift card

  9. Kristy

FYI!!! Fine print says receipts accepted from any store EXCEPT Home Depot, Lowe’s, Target and Walmart!!! Learned the hard way! I’ll be returning my batteries to Walmart and purchasing from a local store.

At any price Energizers will not ruin your device, like Duracell and other brands of batteries
that you think you are saving money on.In some cases the leakage is so bad your device is trashed.
Do yourself a favor, and look at EVERY device you have that uses batteries. You may have a bad day,and I apologize.
Consumers have NOBODY on their side as the Very Large Corporations own this country along with China and the Polly Tishuns.

Worse rebate offer ever. I used my phone to upload and got a text back that the receipt was accepted. Never got an email so I wrote and got a reissued email with link for the virtual Visa card which I downloaded. Trouble is it is for only $5.00 and no one included Walmart with accept it online even as a partial payment. What a fip off

  12. Dave Manker

I had absolutely no problem uploading or submitting the receipt, and not an issue in getting my virtual $5 card. The issue I had, is that I purchased more batteries today at Walmart, they still had the $5 rebate sticker on them. When I get home to get ready to upload the receipt, I see it had expired 1/30/2017……..Bummer!

  13. Belle Horton

I sent an email on January 2, 2018 I haven’t received an answer back about my $5.00 eGift Card from my batteries I purchased at Walmart.

  14. Jill Kershaw

I sent an email in December 28, 2017 I have not receive any answer other than you are taking care of my receipt. I have not hear anything about my $5.00 Gift Card from my battery purchase ($24.75) which I purchased at Walmart.

Hi Jill, You may wish to contact Walmart customer service at 1-800-966-6546.

Why can’t you just have a simple P.O. Box? This is too difficult. I don’t know how to do what is required. I’m not computer savy. This may be simple to everyone else but not me. Learned my lesson- if a rebate can’t be mailed in, I won’t get sucked in ever again.

  16. rhonda huff

    thank you.
