We bought these ones and they tasted horrible! I wonder if we just got a bad box or do other people agree about the taste.

Curious to know what others say too. We have a peanut allergy in our house so I was excited to try them, but I’ll steer clear if they’re a no-go. Thanks for your feedback on it!

I got a couple boxes last time a deal was posted. I don’t like PB&J so I didn’t try them, but my 9 year old son said they were “the grossest thing” he has even eaten and I ended up throwing them away.

      • Lynn L

I think that these are geared towards little people whose palates have not really been exposed to the “real PB&J”. I’m sure most 9 year olds would probably not like them. Once you’ve had a real PB&J nothing else can compare…just my opinion. My 2 year old granddaughter and 4 year old nephew love these though.

    • Jenna

They’re really gross. My 5yo PBJ obsessed kid will eat them, but my 2yo eat-anything kid won’t touch them. I took one bite and almost couldn’t swallow. Save your $1 ๐Ÿ™‚

    My kids love these!!

    • S

      Mine too!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad to hear they enjoy them Nicole! Thanks for sharing!

My 8 yr old who loves uncrustables and is pretty picky does not care for these. My 3yr old on the other hand prefers these over the uncrustables!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the feedback Stephanie! Good to know!

JM87 hopefully you just got a bad batch. Kids in my house loved them!

  5. Stephanie

My kids (1 and 5) took one bite and asked for something else. We grabbed these when we were doing a roadtrip. I tried a bite and agree with the kids…they were nasty!

  6. Serena

My daughter wouldn’t even try them (she doesn’t like regular PB&J, either), so I tried them…I love them! I think you need to approach it without expecting it to taste like peanuts…just think of it as a different kind of sandwich and keep an open mind.

    • Retta

I agree. It’s no PB&J for sure. I thought that the flavor is surprisingly good, but I the pea butter had a gritty/grainy texture.

  7. Jen

I’ve had the Smuckers and have had these and both are good. I guess it depends on the person.

  8. Brittany

These taste so bad. Kids wouldn’t eat them.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh bummer ๐Ÿ™ Sorry to hear they did not care for them.

  9. Veronica

Better try wowbutter it is soy butter and have the consistency in PB but not sticking in your mouth!

  10. Melissa

My kids like them, probably just personal preference ๐Ÿ™‚

These are healthier. They are made with golden peas which is stated on the box. Complaints are due to personal preference. I love these :-D. Great price, thx!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re very welcome! Glad to hear you like them! Thanks for sharing!

My daughter said they made her want to throw up. I said someone needs to eat them and she looked at me like I was crazy. LOL!

i bought this this morning..there were two flavors, strawberry & grapes..i only get the strawberry one.. i eat one in the car on my way back home..i love it! i dont really eat PB&J before..but i tried this just because of this offer..i wonder why it is so expensive,$4.99 perbox with 4 sandwich?? that is overpriced.. even with coupon,$1.75 perbox, 44cents/sandwich,i think it is still expensive for PB&J,but i love the packaging,it is really neat for travel and lunch box..probably pea butter is more expensive than peanut butter..
