Target: 10% Off Target Gift Cards (On December 4th Only)
Heads up Target shoppers!
Target announced that just like last year, they will be offering 10% off Target Gift Cards on December 4th only! That is all of the information available at this time. Last year this deal was only available for 6 hours on the day of the offer, so be sure to stay tuned, as we’ll post more information as soon as it’s available. For now, you can read more about this here.
Have you seen the new 2016 Target Toy Catalog?
Hop on over here where you can take a look through the new 2016 Target Toy Catalog! Hopefully we’ll see this book show up in the Sunday papers soon (most likely on 10/30)!
AND, just like last year, starting November 1st through December 24th, you’ll be able to save a whopping 50% on a different toy each day with the Cartwheel app. You’ll just need to check the Cartwheel app for the “Hot Gifts for Cool Kids Collection” offer of the day and save it to your account.
Additionally, you can download the free Target Wish List App for Apple iOS or Android Devices – a way to create, share, and track your kid’s holiday wish lists. Plus, whenever you download and shop via the app through November 23rd, you’ll save an extra 10% off your Target Wish List (one time use only).
Now through December 25th,Target.com is offering up FREE shipping and returns – no minimum and no promo code needed! Even better, if you’re a Target REDcard holder, you’ll save an additional 5% off your purchases!
Wonder what the limit will be? Previously its been $300
They limit $300 per card last time, but didn’t enforce limit one per person, so I got four cards last time.
I got my toy book in the mail today, along with some great coupons for my daughters 1st birthday! 5/20 toddler toys, and free $5 gc with ANY purchase!!
Awesome! Happy Birthday to your daughter! 😀
Does one still receive the 5% redcard discount when purchasing OR redeeming gift cards? TIA
No, I don’t think you get either. But it is a better deal to buy the cards and get 10% off. I usually get them in varying amounts for daycare, teachers etc.
No, its sadly one of the exclusions.
Only on Target.com . If your red card is attached to your account, you can still get the 5% discount when you purchase using a target gift card
You can no longer buy any gift cards from target.com using target gift cards. This policy went into effect a few months ago. Found out this week when I tried to buy some Disney gift cards with my target gift cards. All orders were immediately cancelled
I just successfully purchased $400 in Disney gift cards using my red card on Target.com.
Just got the gift cards today in the mail. Worked just fine & I got my 5% discount.
She means you can not use target gift cards to buy Disney gift cards online anymore, I was doing this too.. I”m wondering if it would work in store, hmm
One of my favorite days of the year! That and when Sprouts puts their gift cards on discount!
Hi, when does Sprouts put their gift cards on discount? I always shop there and did not know they did that. Thanks.
Hi can you tell about sprouts gift card promotion..i am avid sprouts shopper
I, too, am interested in knowing about the Sprouts gift card deal. We just moved back to the West and left beloved Aldi’s and Sprouts is my new store so if I can save I want to jump on the train.
I can’t wait.
Does anyone know if you can buy this with a GC? I know last year I did, but recently I wanted to buy some smaller GC with a larger (GC) and they said no!!
Patty, I believe you can buy Target gift cards with a Target gift card. I just did this recently because I had four $5 gift cards that I have collected from their promotions and I wanted to combine all four gc into one $20 gc to give as a gift. I went to the customer service desk and did it with no problem. hth.
Thank you Frances, and Mindy! I will try that because I get gift cards from my credit card promotion. 🙂
No, you can’t buy a Target gift card (or any other gift cards that Target sells) with a Target gift card. What they actually did with Frances’ cards was just to transfer the amounts of all of them to the balance on one so it’s not actually buying a gift card with them.
Last week I was able to buy larger amount gift cards using smaller amount gift cards (I have a large collection of the $5 promo gift cards). I did it once at a regular register and once at self check out. No problems with either.
Yes!! Thanks for letting us know well in advance so I get my coins together. LOL
That is part of my plan too 🙂
You’re welcome Michelle!
The toy book arrived in my mailbox today with a coupon for $10 off a $100 storewide purchase. So, my next trip for diapers and toilet paper. 🙂
Does anyone know if you can combine the 10% wishlist and 20% toy coupon? I can’t see it that great on the ad scan. Thanks for the help
No you can’t combine, at least my store didn’t let me last year.
Is this in store only? Or can you do it online? Also do you also get the 5% off if you pay for the gift card with your red card?
You dont get 5% off target gift cards purchased with the Target redcard, however if your red card is attached to your online target account, you can still the 5% discount off your purchase and pay with a target gift card
That’s great to know! Thank you!
Thanks Collin!!
You’re welcome Sarah!
Love this. I get a little too excited about this every year!
Anyone bought Disney gift cards like this? Usually those qualify for the 5% off with Target Redcard. So can I get 10% and 5% off?
As far as I know, they have changed the rules online and we can no longer buy any gift cards using target gift cards. Not even partially paying with it. Orders will go through but it will get cancelled immediately 🙁 I don’t know about in stores though.
Gracias!! I think this year will be the first time I buy this promotion.
Awesome! You’re welcome Lucy!
An employee told me they don’t accept a Target giftcard as a form of payment for another Target giftcard to prevent fraud. This was after I was in line at the service desk and a gentleman had a stack of giftcards valued at $9.99. At first I thought that is weird, but he was able to get $200 cash from those Target giftcards.
Is there a limit on how many gift cards you can purchase?? Need a bunch for gifts. Thanks!
Good question! No other details are listed at the moment. Stay tuned! 😉
Does anyone know if I can use my credit card (non-red card) and still save the 10% or does it have to be the red card?
So how does it work? I’m on their website trying to purchase it and I don’t see the extra 10% coming off.
Will the 10% off Target gift cards on Dec 4 offer be for both online and in-store? Thanks
I just finished online chatting with target.com and they confirmed that you can use a target gift card to buy other gift cards, but ONLY in store, NOT online. I hope that helps everyone! Disney here we come for 10% off! 🙂
