I got an email today that in-store is extra 50-60% off clearance. It was a better deal over the weekend when clearance was extra 75% off and the markdowns were better in-store than online now so toddler girl leggings came to like $1.60, jeggings $2 after 20% off coupon.

No code. When you proceed to checkout where you put in your credit card information it takes the $5 shipping charge away.
Here is a tip that a Children’s Place employee told me. After a purchase, you receive a “Thank you” email, and a 20% off coupon for your next purchase. She said DO NOT open the email/click the link inside, because they generate when they open. This way save the email, and when you’re about to make your next purchase open the link and use it (doesn’t matter how long since its been since you received the email as long as you don’t open it). This way you can continue to use the % off coupons with these great deals. I not have a coupon every time I order because I save them in my inbox!

Hi Leslie that is EXACTLY what I do. I dont open them. I had a feeling they were tracked when opened and that affected the expiry date. I have to be careful because sometimes when reading emails on my iphone it goes to the next one and it opens it automatically

Decent deals but horrible customer service. Honestly I don’t even waste my time anymore to call because I’ve called x4 on issues & never had a resolution. (Once even had spoke to the employee, their manager, their supervisor & then their boss). Their system is older than the early 90’s systems. (You can cancel your entire order… Or keep it-got wrong size item. Wanted to use a gift card on an online purchase I made a few minutes previously- can’t do.)

I’ve had great customer service. Called twice in the past 2 weeks. One item came broken got a full refund. Another item was less after I ordered got a refund for the difference.

YES! Totally agree–worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with (phone customer service, not in store) Doesn’t matter who you speak with. Could be a representative, their supervisor, or the supervisor above them. I tend to wonder if they are just passing the phone call to their coworker sitting next to them and not a supervisor. Completely frustrating to deal with them.

worst company to EVER shop from…Horrid service and SUPER Misleading ads….This current ad is 75% off clearance…. Well they send their items to clearance by marking them down 1 cent! So it should say 75% off regular price…..and if you bring it to their attention they say if you don’t like it…don’t buy it.

Jist for clarification, its 75% off of the original retail price, not an ‘additional’ 75% off. There are times when they actually do offer an additional percentage off but that is generally at the late part of the after season. For example when all leftover summer clearance was reduced even further when fall items began hitting the stores the same goes with leftover winter clearance by the time Spring is upon us. THAT’S when you’ll see the lowest prices. Kohls does this as well to clear out their after season clearacne items. In a final attempt to sell what they can they will usually offer an ‘additional’ 20% off of whatever the current clearance price is. You can score quite a haul during those sales.
Kohls calls that their red rocket sale. Has anyone seen this in their kohls yet?
Not yet, but they just announced their Gold Star Clearance sale in emails so the red rocket sale should be soon, around or after Christmas I would imagine, that’s around the time they did it last year.
