Veteran’s Day is today, November 11th! Thank you to all the Veterans who have served our country and protected our freedom!
In honor of this day, many stores and restaurants offer some nice freebies and discounts to Veterans and Active Duty Military members. In many cases, proof of military service is required to snag these deals. You may also want to call ahead to make sure your local restaurants are participating and to verify their ID requirements.

My spouse and I (both career veterans) just returned from breakfast at the Village Inn. What a wonderful breakfast, great staff, and acknowledgement of our service. It has been a while since we have been to Village Inn, and now I only ask myself the question, Why have we waited so long?! We’ll be back as their orange crepes were to die for. FYI best value on menu Sailors platter, includes fish, scampi, & fried shrimp comes with side & salad $10.99, u can get ur fish fried or broiled. It’s on lunch menu 11-3 but corporate policy is to sell all day anytime, check ur locall store for price and policy. Happy Vetetans day. You can also pull the $3/2 lunch meals q or $4/2 dinners.
