Do you know if any tape comes with this?
Doesn’t look like it. If you change to the “labeled with tape” option, the price changes to $28.09. Thanks for pointing that out!
One of the q&a responses says it includes one roll.
Thank you so much – that’s what I wanted to know. I didn’t even think of looking at the Q&A! I just ordered mine.
This is a good deal! I have the old style one from like ten years ago. Maybe I should update.
Do these have tape that doesn’t come off when you wash clothing? As thinking of it for my kid’s jackets he constantly loses.
I have a different label maker, and I don’t think these kind of labels would wash well. Just my opinion.
The “TZeFA3″ 12mm (0.47”) Navy Blue on White Fabric Iron-on Tape can be used for clothing labels. It’s $32 for 9.8 ft. https://www.officedepot.com/a/products/485227/Brother-TZe-FA3-Label-Tape. To avoid wasting tape, estimate the length that your text will be once printed, enter that number into the P-Touch.
Search – Brother P-Touch Wasting Tape – for detailed instructions.
We purchased this label maker last year at this price. Works great! Great deal! However, I can’t find the refill tape anywhere other than ordering online. So make sure to order back up tape otherwise you may be in the middle of a labeling project and run out, as we did.
Thanks for the helpful feedback Heather!
You can make the label tape last much longer by entering and printing a bunch in one strip rather than one at a time. Each print job leaves maybe an inch of blank wasted tape at each end. But if you enter them at once (with just a single space between where you can cut), you have very little waste!
Great tip! Thanks for sharing!
