We have had a Mohawk rug (different pattern) in the living room for about 5 years and it has stood up well against a dog and 2 little girls. For the price, I think its a good rug.
I have that exact rug! Beautiful, Soft and thick only con hard to vacuum and get all the crumbs. I just shake it out…

My carpets are white and I have 3 kids. I buy Zote bar on laundry care aisle. Wet the carpet with regular water in Steam cleaner and do a quick swipe with the Zote bar then scrub. May take a couple times depending on how bad it is but I got my front stairs white again and they were black. Hth
