How do Bonus Rewards work?
They are different than your normal rewards. Your bonus rewards certificate will be available in your online account within 5 weeks. Simply log in to or create your account at officedepot.com/rewards and click on “View My Rewards Certificates” to view and print your unexpired reward certificates. You can also access your rewards certificates on your smartphone after creating an online account.
Reward certificates can be redeemed at any Office Depot or OfficeMax store, online or by phone at 1.800.463.3768. For online purchases, your unexpired certificates are available at checkout.
(Thanks, Couponing 2 Savings!)
Can I use my rewards from buying one set of batteries and use it on another transaction since it’s limit to, and still get the $13.98 rewards?

But when I comes in, and there’s still time, can I buy it and still get the reward
Office Depot rewards do not “roll”, if that’s what you’re asking 🙁
What does the rewards mean? Cash to spend only at that store?
Correct
This deal ended yesterday….
This deal is still going on! I know because I almost bought them this weekend, but then double checked the end date. It doesn’t end for a looong time. I don’t remember the exact date but it was late dec or January to give you an idea 🙂
How long do we have to use the rewards? Is it like Kohls Cash that has a limited window to be used? Thanks!
Hi Christina, below is info from OD on their rewards after my comments. Note the “1,000 points” and “unpaid rewards” because this means your 100% Reward really isn’t. For example the $13.98 battery deal will only get you $10 and if you don’t get other rewards to = another 1,000 pts, the $3.98 will drop off. So even if you got $9.99 more in rewards you will NOT get those points bec they drop off. They do not carryover to the next quarter. If you need batteries then it’s not that big of a deal. Just something to be aware of.
Here’s the OD info:
Office Depot® OfficeMax® Rewards: Rewards are earned on the price paid for a qualifying item before tax and after deducting all discounts and the value of any rewards/merchandise certificates/cards applied to purchase. No rewards are earned on delivery fees. Rewards are issued as points. Rewards are paid monthly online only as a rewards certificate for every 1,000 points earned. Rewards certificates are redeemable for future purchases at Office Depot and OfficeMax stores, officedepot.com, or by phone at 800-GO-DEPOT. Unpaid rewards expire at the end of each quarter. Limit 1 account per household/business. Visit officedepot.com/rewards or call 866.562.3872 for Terms and Conditions.
I don’t think this works like reward points. I’m not a big Office Depot shopper, but I did this deal in August. I bought 2 packs and had a reward certificate for $27.96 that I just used today.
Hi Crys, it sounds like you did the battery deal. I did the binder deal back in Sept where I spent about $55 pretax and only got $50 and the remaining amount just seems to have disappeared. However I did have my OD and OM accounts merged by customer service so I wonder if that’s why the rest of my points are missing? It’s interesting that you got $27.96 when they say they only issue in 1,000 point increments but it’s great if you got a cert for the full amt even if it’s not an exact multiple of $10.
