I have this model for past 3 months, and I really loved it. I tried the previous model too, but this is way better. It cleans the floor beautifully and cleaning the machine itself quite easy. I definitely recommend this cleaner.
How noisy is it?
Comparable to a vacuum
It’s definitely has more noise than a vaccum, but surely manageable…
Personally I prefer the original floormate syle. This one has good suction though.

I have this model and I LOVE it! If you are thinking of getting it, just do it. It is amazing to see how dirty your floor actually is. Completely worth it. Cleans well! No complaints, except I hate to see how dirty my floor really was prior to using this on it.

Be careful when ordering directly from Hoover’s website. If you need to return the product, they make you pay for return shipping which is almost the cost of these discounted prices. I ordered a vacuum on sale in October and it would have cost me $48 to send it back. I even explained to them that I’m pregnant and had to have assistance getting the box in, putting the vacuum together, taking it apart and taking it to UPS and they offered no support.

Those who have this how wet does it leave your floors after washing? We have a steam mop and I’m always aftraid I’m going to slip on the wet floor as I’m doing it
I have an older model from a few years ago so my comments are based on that. It does leave my floors wet even after using the dry feature. They are dry in about 20 minutes. I think the machine is loud, louder than my vacuum, but manageable. It is heavy and big BUT I do feel like my floors are really getting clean. The water in the tank is always black. Yuck! I’ve had all kinds of floor tools and while this isnt perfect, it’s the best I’ve owned between a swifter, steam mop, and good old hands And knees. DO NOT put anything in it besides the Hoover cleaner or, not recommended or covered by hoovers warranty, vinegar. I use vinegar and water in mine because the cleaner is pricey. Anything else may clog the machine over time.
I bought this from Hoover last week for the same price. I LOVE it! I have travertine and wood floors and it’s awesome! The only slight negative is you have to refill and dump the water often if you have a big house. It has a switch if you just want to vacuum up any extra water. I highly recommend it and I am a very picky person! Lol
