If you’re upgrading to an Xbox One S from an older model, head on over to Microsoft.com where you can now request a FREE Xbox One Kinect Adapter (a $39.99 value)! Just head on over here and log into your Microsoft account and follow the prompts. Also note that you will need the serial numbers found on your old Xbox One, on your Kinect AND on your new Xbox One S in order to request your adapter.

Got mine ordered, luckily i registered my old xbox cause i had sold it, and everything was in there saved just registered my new one, got a order number now i sit back and wait
what does this do? We have an old xbox, and an xbox 360 kinect – would it allow the kinect capability to be used on the old xbox?
I think this only works on the Xbox one Kinect sensor – if you had that and recently upgraded to their new S console – it allows you to use your Kinect. I don’t know for certain though!
