Still hoping to score a Nintendo Classic Game System in time for Christmas? You may be in luck as tomorrow, December 20th only, Best Buy stores will have a limited supply of this highly sought after game system available in more than 1,000 Big Box stores across the United States – it will not be available on BestBuy.com.
The NES System will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis and stores will hand out tickets for customers waiting in line and will only give out as many tickets as they have consoles available. Please note there is a limit of one NES Classic per person. No price is listed; however, BestBuy.com has been selling the NES Classic for $59.99 so I would assume the in store price will be $59.99 as well. For more information, head on over here.

I feel like a lucky girl! About 10 years ago, I was wondering through a local thrift store and found an actual classic nintendo, still in the original packaging. It was marked 49.00 but I had a coupon outta the local paper for half off any purchase. What a score! And, it still works, we actually play it sometimes.

I have the original as well. Already had the system but was at a yardsale 10 years ago and there was the original for sale WITH the original packaging. I fell in love with the box lol bought it all for $15 just so I could also have the box lol Then I gave a friend our spare system.

When they did it at toys r us you basically had to be there at six. I got there close to open just to see a flood of people heading away.
Our store said 6-7 pm the night before. They handed out tickets at 1 am since the line was so long.
I’ve been wanting one of these so bad! I won’t be getting one tomorrow either since I’ll be at work.
My husband got one for us a few weeks ago. was in line at target at 630am and they opened at 8! Love it too!

This why I’m not wasting my time chasing this item. We still have the original, but I really wanted the new one for DS for Christmas. Will just wait until after the holidays. I’m sure the market will be flooding with it by then.
They won’t be that easy to find. A rep for nintendo said they are now focusing on the Nintendo Switch for the March 2017 release.
I got one when they released it 11/11/16 at Best Buy at gulfgate In Houston tx , I got there at 6:30 am , I was # 4 in line the ones before me had been there all night at 8:30 am they gave tickets by 9 am they got everyone in by # to cash out! Got it for my 29 yr old daughter who’s becoming a lawyer in May ! Not knowing my only grand child wants a hatch animal lol maybe I will go by now and see if there is a line now !! Maybe if no one is in line tomorrow I go get one for my nephew thank you good luck to everyone
Trying to get one of these has been crazy. You basically have to not have a job to have the time to go to stand in all these lines to get this and a hatchimal. Have been trying to get one of these for my husband since the day they were released. Now considering to get one for Valentine’s Day even though we don’t normally exchange expensive gifts.
I have a full time job and have been able to secure 2 of these. Total waiting time 15 minutes.
First one I saw on BS that my local Walmart was getting them. Showed up, asked for it and walked right out the door.
Second one went to GameStop this past Thursday because I heard they were getting them. Got there 15 minutes before they opened.
Have I been luckily? Maybe. I also just did a little homework ahead of time
I also got one Thursday at GameStop. Got there 20 minutes before they opened and was first. Good thing too because they had 1!!
Unfortunately my Walmart was not as cooperative. I did my homework too, followed an inventory tracking site. Showed they had 14 in stock one night so I drove to the store. A girl in the toy aisle typed the UPC code in her little price scanner thing and it showed they had 14 in stock and even showed “in stock” on my Walmart app for that particular store. But not one person would help me. I asked several people, including a manger and they all just said “we don’t have any”. I asked them to go look in the back and not one person would. It was so frustrating!!!

Same here. I live in a small town and so, it’s not easy for me when I work from 7:30-5:30 Mon-Fri and have to drive 45 minutes one way to the closest Best Buy.
I know the rumor is local Truck Stops/Stores might have them. Might be worth checking. 🙂

I finally got one! My husband has wanted one so bad and we’ve been trying and trying to get our hands on one but it has been impossible with him having a full time job and me being at home with two small children. I finally told him there’s no way I can get him one before Christmas, but I secretly asked my sister to stand in line at Best Buy as a last ditch effort to get one anyways. She got there at 5am and was #20. At 7:30 they announced they had 30 Nintendos in stock! So now I will have one under the tree for my husband and he has NO IDEA! It’s gonna be awesome. Thanks to H2S, Best Buy, and my sister who I now owe big time 🙂

Just tried after working nightshift to get one. If the tickets are not claimed the Nintendos go to the sales floor at 11am.
It was live on amazon prime now for NY. I got one!!!
I GOT ONE! I have been trying since the release date. I got in line at 4:45. At 5:30 they gave out their 24 tickets. I was # 24 🤗. Glad they didn’t make us wait much longer. It was 16 degrees ☃️
