Are these good?
Yes they are great books! My kids get the flyers from school but I purchase online because they have a larger selection and a wide range of prices. I have never been disappointed from an order and I find that the books they have for each age group is spot on.
Is this only for teachers? I wouldnt mind buying it for my kids
Great question April! How do we non-teacher mothers get our hands on this deal?!
Yes. This is for Teachers.
It looks like Anyone can purchase for the Great price…. go ahead add it to your cart and check out… see… $54. π
I agree id like to buy this too but I’m not a teacher!!
You can ask your child’s teacher to order it for you and you pay them for the books. As a teacher they would receive bonus points and would be delighted to do it for you.
I would love to buy this for my girls teachers!
Scholastic does these deals from time to time and I have bought them for my classroom to use as books to send home for kids to read because I don’t mind if I lose them. To be honest, they aren’t the highest quality literature. I’d recommend a local used bookstore or library book sale over these if you are looking for classics or Caldecott winners. That being said, it is a decent deal for what it is. Usually they are just for teachers, but try calling Scholastic- they may honor it!
Is there a code needed? Thanks
If you’re not eligible for this as a non-teacher, look up the scholastic warehouse events and see if you live near one. I live maybe 40 minutes drive from two, I’m lucky! They’re like book fairs at school but with at least 25% off everything, and a lot is half off. Anyone can attend, and if you register for a sale online you get a coupon for $10/$50, $20 off a higher price, etc. I’ve never spent more than $60 HAHA!
Thanks Emily I live near a warehouse and didn’t know they were open to the public
Can school counselers get in on this deal too?
Register as a home schooler. Then you can get the teacher price.
And this kind of stuff gets these programs taken away from homeschooling parents who rightfully truly could use these resources.
Please only register as a Homeschooler if you are actually homeschooling. Those of us who homeschool work hard to keep homeschooling options open to our families. Posing as a homeschool parent just to gain resources is unethical.
Thanks for posting! My books are being delivered tomorrow! I checked again today and they REALLY raised the prices! Please post more deals like this in the future!! Thanks!!! π
