How One Reader Scored Over 20 Items for Just $30 at Old Navy (And Got Back $10 Super Cash Too!)
Headed to Old Navy soon? Keep your eyes peeled for possible clearance clothing items starting at only 47¢-99¢! Keep in mind that clearance items may vary by store, but check out the following…
Check out this email & photos from Hip2Save reader, Erica…
Hey Collin! Today I visited my local Old Navy store and to my surprise, I found TONS and I mean TONS of clothing on sale or clearance! I set a budget of $30 and that’s what I spent (after tax) for EVERYTHING pictured! BUT I also got $10 Old Navy Super Cash, so it’s like I only spent $20! “Yes” The most expensive and I laugh when I say expensive item I purchased was $2.99.
A few shirts were 47¢ & 97¢, with the majority being only 99¢. Those adorable leggings are so perfect… I could just squeal. I really appreciate all that you do for the Hip2Save community, so I thought I’d share this with hopes of maybe helping someone else out. Like I mentioned before, I was on a tight budget and left a ton of $0.97 items at the store, so RUN to Old Navy and get some deals!
Let us know if you find these same deals at your local store!
(Thanks, Erica!)
Are those leggings for women or girls? I’m super obsessed with leggings now because of lularoe!
Girls leggings! They are adorable too
Check out Fabulegs.com. Great quality and thr fit is just like LLR. but she runs awesome specials
I’m seeing something for a spray on for your legs. I don’t see leggings.
Its https://www.fabulegsmelissa.com/ not fabulegs…
Just went to my old navy in Northwest Indiana. Big disappointment. Not much and everything was expensive! Some things were still $10-15. The girls leggings were $3.
I’m in Schererville which one did you go to? Highland merrillville?
Wow! Super score. I really shop at Navy because it’s so far away but it might be worth the trip.
Erica! Wow! *Heart Eyes* If you’re reading this… can I ask how much the leggings were? They look SO cute! It makes me wanna go run over to Old Navy right now!!
Hey Jane!!!!! The leggings aren’t ladies they are girls (5t)… & they cost $1.97 each
Girls might work too! Are there like big girl sizes? I’m pretty skinny, so I can usually still fit into size, 14-16, or 18-20!
I really didn’t look at larger girls sizes BUT they had a TON of girls at my local Old Navy! That was the most plentiful clearance area (girls).
I’m so glad I’m not the only one who shops in the kids section…for myself

Haha you’re totally not alone! Saves money too because it’s usually cheaper
Lol. You’re not the only one. I was pretty embarrassed by that. Being in your 30s and wearing girls / juniors clothes is a bit tricky, but what can I do… We need a group or something where we can get together and swap clothes
Yeah we totally do! I’m that old lady still shopping in the juniors section lol. But not because I want to but because the clothes women’s section look like I’m wearing a potato sack!
I got the rose print leggings for my baby girl with a navy blue background for 97 cents each. The aztec print were $1.99 at my local store.
Wouldn’t it be funny if you were shopping in Va too?? If you don’t mind what state are you shopping in?
Just scored at Old Navy today too. Bought 11 baby girl and toddler boy items for $15.55 and that was with a $3.49 “splurge” on an adorable dress for my daughter. Great christmas shirts for the kids for next year for only 97 cents :).
Any good clearance on women’s clothes?
Yesssss just didn’t have the budget:/
I used to find tons of .47-.97 stuff at my Old Navy Outlet. I sense they are starting to cut down on merchandise as stores pull out from malls. There is much less clearance and they are marking it down much slower. I made a box of two sizes of shirts for my son from the .47-.97 lot. I suggest stockpiling as much as possible as these prices may not be around much longer. What you do not use, donate.
I went to a stand alone store not an outlet or in a mall, do you think that makes a difference??? I was shocked at how much they had for sooooo cheap! Thanks for your feedback
It is usually the outlet stores that have the deeper clearance. I have found a handful of items at .97 at (2) stand alone stores. These cheap prices means it is old inventory- at least a year old. If a company finds a lot of loss clearance, they will adjust inventory to avoid it in the future.
I work for Old Navy and these clearance items are not always very old. We just have to make room for the new season.
Wow! Thank u, I will hit Old Navy this week.
That is amazing! Great job! Thanks for sharing!
I also found great deals on last friday. I shopped all Womens clothing and got active leggings for 2.97, Active wear tops .47, plaid button up shirts for 4.99, sports bra for 3.97. tops for .97. it was awesome. And I love the workout gear. Right on time
Off topic question. I haven’t gotten any surveys from Pinecone in about 2 weeks. Anyone else in the same situation?
Yes same here. I keep checking.
I got one last week, but didn’t have the time to do it and now it’s closed. But they sent me a new one today.
Thanks everyone for the answers!
Erica, where in VA are you? I’m in Richmond and want to go to a store to check out the deals.
Winchester VA
I went to my old navy in state college today and scored 22 pieces for $50.xx. I was so excited. It’s an entire seasons worth of clothes for my toddler for next year. I do this once in the winter and once in the summer to stock up on next years sizes. Included in my haul is a winter coat. Thanks for the heads up as I’m due with baby 2 in 4 days!
I went to the Springfield, IL Old Navy store and they didn’t have any .47-.97 cent Clearance. Most of the Clearance items were $3.99 and over. The girls leggings shown above were over $6
Employee confirmed they won’t be having any Clearance at that price in the near future. Bummer!
