I PLACED MY ORDER AND GOT AN EMAIL SAYING “THANK YOU FOR YOUR ORDER. DUE TO ISSUES WITH THE GIFT CARDS WE WILL REQUIRE THE GIFT CARD AT THE TIME OF PICK UP.”
Tell them it isn’t a gift card because it isn’t.
This was the response to me saying I found an online coupon code:
“I’m sorry but the $5 off requires the gift card. They were issued with the purchase of gift cards in December. Would you like me to cancel your order?”
How strange as it is not a gift card. Are you able to call in to your store for clarification?
I spoke to the manager and he said they were given out with gift cards that were purchased in December. it is not a coupon according to him, you must have the card. He will not honor it.
WHERE DID THIS COUPON CODE COME FROM? I DONT KNOW HOW TO RESPOND TO THEM ASKING ME TO BRING THE GIFT CARD ATTACHED TO IT.
You could…
1. Call and cancel the order if you’re uncomfortable going in and not knowing what will happen
2. Go to pick up the order and if they ask you for the gift card explain that it was a coupon code you saw online (and they’ll either honor it or ask you to pay the $5 and then it’s up to you to decide to pay for the food or just leave it)
3. Whatever other option you think of
(After re-reading this I think my response may sound a bit snarky to some, but I don’t intend for it to be that way!)
I have never had anyone question a code and I just emailed them back saying it was an online coupon code I found. You didn’t sound snarky to me. I guess we will see if they honor the coupon or not.
Hopefully they honor it, but when I entered it the coupon did say “holiday gift card $5 bonus” so it sounds like a bonus gift card you received if you bought gift cards from the during a certain time period.

Able to Order and use CODE for pick up tomorrow at location in Arizona. Had to JOIN which I then received FREE DRINK!
It didn’t work for me. I placed the order and everything seemed fine, but then I got an email saying that I had to bring in the physical gift card. It said Holiday Gift Card Bonus when I placed the order.
Got my free kids meal today
I just tried to place an order. it went through, but the screen then stated to bring in the $5 gift card. then about 15 min later, i got a “cancelled” email. & the shop even called saying it had been cancelled. he said the code went viral and was only supposed to be for people that had ordered a $25 gift card last month. i had only seen the code online, so i was fine with the cancellation. makes sense. i’m seeing it posted everywhere. might be a good idea to take it down. :/ i kinda feel bad for Which Which now.
