Our target is telling people you can’t use the same coupons on the same products in one purchase. Example: The twin pack toothpaste deal, you had to get different flavors vs getting two packs of the same or else the cashier said she’s not allowed to according to her managers new instructions that day.
Confusing!
That’s not a corporate decision. Managers are allowed to make their own rules, but sometimes cashiers try to make their own rules too, or misunderstand what they were told. I would try again. Could mix and match shampoo and conditioner for this deal.
That’s ridiculous! It’s really hard couponing @ Target nowadays. No wonder most of the shelves now are fully stock unlike the old days!
It is! I literally have to take all my coupons that the one target wouldn’t take and go to another target and use them. I have about 3 targets around me that aren’t that far of a drive! It’s hit or miss at all of them!
It’s sad how some stores, cashiers, and even managers behave towards shoppers who coupon. It makes me upset and uncomfortable in some instances (when I know I’ve followed all of a specific coupon instructions; such as size restrictions). It really bothers me when they take the coupon (even 1 from an insert) and start examining it before even attempting to scan it first. It’s almost like they don’t want us to use coupons at their store. Most act like they either own the store or are the CFO. Don’t get me wrong, I know there are many who abuse and cheat when they coupon, and when that happens the store may not be reimbursed for said coupons. I’m not one of them and I shouldn’t be made to feel like a criminal just because I’m saving my family money by not paying full price. Sorry for my little rant, but after reading above comment about their Target just reminded me of an incident in Dollar Tree the other day when I was using the super pretzel coupon (these have no restrictions what so ever) and cashier still acted as if she didn’t want to scan them.
I agree with you 100%. After my last trip to Target, I took the survey and gave feedback on how hard it has become to coupon there. Frustrating and can be embarrassing, especially if there is a line of people behind me. I enjoy couponing, but also have to do it to save money!
YES! 100% agree.
Exactly! The lady wouldn’t even scan the coupon when the woman asked her to try. She is the assistant manager apparently.
There’s also a 5% off cartwheel for Suave Hair Care that’s good until February 18th.
Thanks Ariel!
Wow after reading these comments I am so glad the Targets around me are extremely coupon friendly.
