Can anyone tell me how is the straightening brush if you own one
I like my but I have very thin hairs. I don’t think it will works on thick hairs, if you already have other straightener don’t buy it.
It doesn’t really work. I have super thick hair and a flat iron works better for me. I will use the brush for quick touch ups.
I just bought this for our 11 year old daughters birthday. She has very long thick hair. I did a trial run on my own hair and then did hers. It works pretty well but I did find that the normal brushing motion wouldn’t work as well as going from up and under the hair. Then the strands stay in the brush better and straighten. It heats up quickly and has protectors on out edge which I like, less chance to get burned. For the price, it’s a good deal.
Thanks so much for the helpful review Kristi! Good to know!
I just ordered this in red. I forgot all about a gift card that I had in my account, so this was free!! If it doesn’t work like it should, they have a full refund policy.
Great score!
I like mine for about 3 reasons. The flat iron seems to fry my hair, and the brush doesn’t. My hair seems healthier since using the brush. With the brush it has been faster for me to straighten my hair. With that said, my hair isn’t thick. The cord is long and I can sit in front of the TV while brushing it. I do brush up and under also. My hair looks smoother and healthier than when I used the flat iron. I’m trying to grow my hair longer, and the brush seems to help with that stage of ‘I can’t stand my hair so I think I’ll get it cut”. Thanks Collin for the deals. I bought mine in December.
I agree– if you’re trying really hard to grow your hair longer and stronger but still wanting it to look managed, this is a great tool. Some would say that this is a “healthier heat,” much like a curling wand versus a curling iron because you’re able to control the temp as opposed to one setting. The flat iron always got way too hot for my hair and damaged it, as well as making it look unnaturally straight. Was it quicker? Sure. It also took away a lot of the natural volume out of my hair. This brush takes some creativity as far as technique goes, but once you figure out what works for you, it keeps a very natural straight look. I have thicker hair and I section mine off, brush from the underside so that each section goes completely through the brush and I go slow. Don’t brush like you would with a normal brush or you won’t see results at all. I get mostly straight hair (it won’t be stick-straight, but it looks way more natural!) while retaining volume and I’m not damaging it like before!
You’re very welcome Leslie! Good to know how well it has worked on your hair! Thanks so much for the great review!
