Would love one of these but then read several reviews about metal shavings/goo coming out with the food. Yikes…
My sentiments exactly. Hopefully someone can chime in with a better healthier alternative. 🌺
I’ve had one for almost 1.5 years and I’ve never had that happen. I’ve used it so many times.

^^^^ that’s just a larger tray. Not the actual grinder part.
oops sorry well if anyone needs the tray look like a good price also the sausage suffer is $7.99
I have it, it works great. I’m using it for several months, got it as a rebate. I just love it. I read few reviews where ppl wrote like the tray is small, i would say its not. At speed 6 grinds meat very fast. I personally love it. The quality is really good. I agree, the price is best.
Glad to hear that Eni!
I love it and have had mine for several years! It’s saved us loads of money grinding our own venison.
Awesome! Glad to hear you like yours Kim!
I got mine for our wedding over 18 years ago and it still works great! With a large family, we use it often
How cool! Glad to hear how well it has held up over the years Marina! Thanks for sharing!
I have one and it works very well. Had it for years and see no damage or breaking down. Use it for processing venison.
So glad to hear how well it has worked for you Donna! Thanks for the great review! 🙂
I’ll be using mine today to make and freeze chicken burgers I love it!
Yum!
It’s showing as $39.99 on Amazon now. =(
Sorry $39.00 not $39.99
Thanks for letting us know! I am finding that as well.
I have had one for 25 years or so. Have a 2nd from the Goodwill. Only problem ever is that there is a small crack in the plastic housing which hasn’t been a problem. Was already cracked in the Goodwill one too. Make my 2 oranges, 1 pkg fresh cranberries 2 c sugar Cranberry/Orange relish each year. Mom used hers for 50 years. We would grind up the leftover roast beef to make roast beef rolls, like cinnamon rolls only beef.
I forgot to mention that sometimes when I grind orange slices and cranberries, some of the juice backs up into the attachment part…not into the motor. When I clean my mixer, I put a dishrag into the hole, and sometimes it looks like black. Probably orange juice acid with the metal making a dark color. Mixer has over 30 years use and keeps on ticking.
