Any feedbacks on this car seat.
It’s an awesome car seat! Love it! It’s easy adjust straps (i.e.:to loosen and tighten to get baby in/out) And Britax has one of the best baby car seat reputations out there…I totally recommend and this is a great price!
Sweet! Thanks for your review Kristin! We sure do appreciate it!
We bought this for our son back in Dec 2015 when he was born. It was a great seat while it lasted but he grew out of it at 4months (shoulders got too wide) which was disappointing. Granny had a cosco infant car seat that he fit comfortably in still at 10months. I would not recommend this seat to anyone who has babies that are on the chubbier side – it is just too narrow to make it worth having. For future babies we plan to use a convertible seat from the start.
Thanks for the honest review Alese! Good to know!
It is a narrow seat. I can’t help but notice how much safer my baby looks in his infant seat, as opposed to other car seats where the baby’s head can flop around so easily. My son is 11 months and 17lbs. He’s snugly in there, but he certainly hasn’t outgrown it.
Thanks for sharing your experience Amy! Happy to hear how well your little one has fit in this seat!
My sister gave me her b-safe when I had my baby. I didn’t realize at the time how lucky I was. It was/is one of the highest rated infant carriers. The seat is much deeper than most other seats which protects baby better and for a longer time. I kept my baby in it until she was 15 months old. I don’t remember her height/weight at that time, but she has always been around the 65th percentile for height and weight. Mine has now expired but I will be purchasing another when/if I have another baby. Also, when I went to the fire station to have it checked off for installation, the fireman said he started to take note of the Britax brand when time after time babies/kids were pulled from accidents unharmed when they were in Britax car seats.
