I’ve actually tried these before and they feel a little stiff at first, but then are soft after washing. They aren’t the cutest designs ever but I got them on a similar deal and use them underneath the mattress pad in case of late night messes and quick bed changes.

Thrifty tip. When baby outgrows crib, cut down crib sheets into pillow cases. Easy sewing project, just cut a rectangle and sew straight lines.
