I love the Cricut because it was easy to setup and worked the very first time I tried it. They walk you through exactly how to use it and how to make a cute greeting card project – so it teaches you.
The preset projects in the Cricut Design Space were perfect for learning and easy to understand. I also loved the marker feature of the Cricut for really fun written details! I love the tool storage on the Cricut machine too!
I am not an expert in this type of cutting machine crafting but was able to make these projects easily on the first day and had lots of FUN!
My experience with the Silhouette machine was very difficult and the opposite. I had a hard time loading the mat just right, and the setup was awkward in my opinion (this was also three years ago, so maybe the machine has changed a bit?).
I really like the idea with the water bottles, how well does the decal stay on them?
It lasts for about 6 months depending on how often you use it.

They stay pretty good as long as you use Oracal brand.
Stays well when using Oracle vinyl.
Same as above comments. I use the oracle 651 and haven’t had any issues. I’ve put mine in the dishwasher even though you’re not supposed to. I did always let the cups sit for a couple days before using though. I don’t know know if it really helps or not but it makes me feel better.

This is a good deal. But after comparing the two I prefer to buy the silhouette. I don’t want to be tied to the internet while creating. Has anybody seen any good deals on those bundles ?
Anyone recommend this over the Silhouette cameo? Looking to start My own Etsy shop selling cutouts and vinyled items. Would this be good for that?

I LOVE my cricut (I have the explore air2) it’s so nice being able to create images on the web and save them (I do this between patients at work, lol) then I go home and retrieve the saved project on my phone and shoot it to the cricut via Bluetooth. It has upped my crafting game 300%! One of my best and most requested projects is the Ozark
trail 30oz mugs from Walmart for $8.99 personalized with names or initials. As long as you don’t put them in the dishwasher (you’re not supposed to put those mugs in the dishwasher anyway) the decal can last a very long time (I have one going on a year) I only use
Orval as well.

Oh do I ever wish I could afford this bad boy. I was fortunate enough to get a hand me down of one of the very first machines years back but sadly it’s passed on. I had so much fun with the cricket. Especially with cutting out vinyl to etch glass!!! Darn…anyone buying one of these and want to sell me your old one??!! lol. Im serious….

I will never purchase another cricut machine. I had the starter machine Several expressions and the imagine. I hate the way they cut and the imagine was a huge disappointment that doesn’t do what it was designed to do. Just my opinion…
