They NEVER said they were getting rid of the codes, just that 3/22 was the last day to enter codes on the MCR site. Right now, the new site is in a beta test, and the full site will be open July 1 (or whatever day, I forgot) They are supposed to have a catalog similar to what MCR had. But mostly the codes will be for contests and other promos like this.

Is the code for a 20 or 24 pack worth the same as a single bottle now? I don’t like that, if so.

I talked with a rep a couple of weeks ago because I was upset because I had codes that I thought I was going to lose because of their 75 points a week limit (I saved the codes and hadn’t entered them yet). She told me the coke.com site was open already and I could use that, but when I went there they didn’t seem have the different individual items you could save up for and purchase. Also, I have codes for fridge boxes that used to be worth a lot but I am wondering if now they are worth the same as a bottle cap… Maybe not.
Someone posted on the Coke FB page a few wks ago, they were told that instead of needing XX amt of points (like 30 to get a free coke coupon), you’d have to enter XX number of caps or flaps (like 20 or whatever). The new rewards catalog won’t be available until the site is 100% open. Looks like they might be testing with small things for now.
It seems like you’re right about that. It looks like they’re removing the point system and each code is worth the same value regardless of the product size.

So is this a new website you go to with a new account? you have to set up ? or if you start entering codes it automatically goes to the new system? and do they keep them separate cuz I still have lots of codes on the old system
Craig, I don’t think the old system allows for you to enter codes any more. I was told I had until the end of June to use whatever codes I had in the old system (purchase things from the old catalog or donate). I already had an account in the coke.com website, but I don’t know if it was because I had an account before they moved to the now old but at one time new MCR site.
I was able to sign into the new site with my email and password from the old site.

I have just over the amount needed to get the $5 Walmart gift card on the MCR website, and now it’s gone completely. I really hope that I don’t lose those points now (the gift card was showing as out of stock before). I don’t understand the new code thing on the Coke website either. I think that a code from like a case of soda should count for the amount of points it did before, or at least close to it, but it sounds like 1 code is 1 code no matter what. :/
They really need to do a better job of explaining this new rewards program. If anyone finds out where there is more explanation, please share. This is nearly as bad a rollout as “New Coke!”

I am a bit disappointed in Coke for the rollover of the rewards program. We are in 2017 and they could not find a way to “rollover” our current points? I put a bunch in thinking they were going to not be valid any longer. A bit disappointing and ridiculous that I was not able to use them towards the current rewards. I also think that it is a bit unfair that one bottle cap is the same amount of reward as a 12 pack of pop. I have 4 twelve packs in my garage and if I input all the codes I still am 6 short for the popcorn, but if I enter in 10 bottles I can have the popcorn even though I have 96 cans of coke in my garage…that just does not seem to be fair. How does one 12 pack equal 1 bottle?! Come on Coke…you can do better then this!

Coke handled this very poorly. When Kellogg eliminated entering points, you had a year use them up. Their lack of explanation is appalling.
