I had to post my experience with a new product. We have hard water where we live in southern California, and I was at Walmart to purchase CLR, hoping that would help clean the toilet bowls. Well, I found bottle of Lysol “Lime and Rust” toilet bowl cleaner, which I had never seen before. And, it was only $1.99! I tried it yesterday – put it in the bowl and left it for 10 minutes, then went back to clean. My toilet brush took the gunk away in s-e-c-o-n-d-s and it was effortless. Like, gamechanger. I was so excited I called the number on the back of the bottle and told them how happy I was. I hope Costco gets it – I want to buy like 20 more of these! I used to buy what’s in the picture – Clorox, but I had to scrub and scrub and never fully got the hard water stains off. I’ve never been a “Lysol girl” but I am now!!!
Is that the one in the black bottle? If so, i bought a bottle at Target once and was Ah-mazed at how well it got rid of the buildup around the underneath rim of the toilet!! I’ve never seen it again! I hardly go to the cleaning section at WM, but I’ll have to remember next time and if they sell it, get a few bottles!!! I’ve been using the Clorox Cling Gel in the greenish bottle, and it works ok, but not better than that one Lysol cleaner!!
I love the clorox one but once hard water stain sets in it won’t work for me either! Thank you I’m getting Lysol lime/rust asap:)
