Be sure to read the reviews before ordering. Many people were unhappy about the time limits and poor customer service.

Check with your public library and see if they have the Rosetta Stone sets. I live in Northeast Ohio and our library system has them to lend out.

Thanks for the helpful tip Deb! Good to know!

Agreed Lori. Sounds like you only get online access for 3 months for 1 user. After 3 months you have to pay to access it.

I have this. The online access was limited…. I studied Spanish in school, it teaches differently. It teaches more like you naturally learned your native language. No vocabulary word list, no grammer rules. Just exposure to the language through text and audio coupled with pictures. I studied in college and it was weird learning though RS bcus In studied in such a structured way in school. I was like, where are the grammer rules and vocabulary words lol! But that’s not how I leaned English, it was pure exposure until you go to school and learn the rules but you have a grasp of the language before ever going to school. I’d say go for it!

Thanks so much for sharing your experience!

i speak several languages. I started to study Swedish with this service. I found the value in the tutoring which was unlimited a while ago. I learned so much outside of the lessons. Now, the tutoring is limited and costs a lot of money. One can go online and find things to study for free. Listen to music and news to listen to the language and better your accent.
