A note on outdated technology, phones can be donated to assist victims of domestic abuse. As long as it can charge, it can call 911. The phones are re-set before giving out so your information won’t be compromised or linked to a DV case.
Interesting, do you have a link or info on how to donate to domestic abuse victims?
I would also like that link please. I have quite a few old phones laying around.
You can donate them to Verizon stores

Ladies, thank you for your interest in DV. Unfortunately I do not have a general link, only to the state I live in. I know donations are accepted nationwide so you should be able to find a location in your state as well.
To add on to this, call your local fire station or police office to ask. My brother is a firefighter and this is something they know about at their station.
The Whole Foods near me has a collection bin in their lobby for cell phones to be donated for this cause. Maybe there is a store near you?
Verizon has pre paid envelopes you can use to send in your old phones.
Can the $10 off 30 be used on gift cards, like itunes and wholefoods? or is that an exclusion?
I am not finding that information when looking through the details. You could always give them a call to be certain. 800-333-3330 Hope this helps!
Do I just bring in outdated technology and they give me coupon? My store didn’t have a clue what I was talking about
Hi there! This begins on April 16, for select outdated technology items. Be sure to grab additional information through the link above. Hope this helps!
