FYI…
I purchased shoes through Jack Rabbit before and they had been previously worn outside. It was annoying and I asked for a different pair to be shipped to me. Their customer service was slow to respond and couldn’t meet my request. I ended up returning them but won’t buy from them again.
Oh darn! Sorry to hear about your experience Becky 🙁 Thanks for the honest feedback!
Thank you so much!
I’ve always been an ASICS girl, but at this price, I figured I would give Brooks a whirl.
FYI brooks tend to be slightly wider in the foot bed and the heal.
Thanks. I usually need a wide in ASICS so I went with a wide as well in these. Guess I will find out if that was a smart move or not. 🙂
You’re welcome Debbie!
I used to only wear Asics, but the last 3 pairs I have had are Brooks. Their ghost model is wonderful. I always buy the deals when they are getting rid of last years shoes.
Thanks for sharing your experience Laurie!
These are the most expensive shoes I’ve ever bought myself, but seeing as how I have bad plantar faciitus in both feet and am on my feet all day as a teacher I’ll give these a try. Hope they are as good as they say they are! Thanks for the discount notice!
My friend has planter faciitus and she wears these shoes and found some insoles at Walmart for this condition and she says her feet don’t hurt.
You’re welcome!
I purchased my first pair of Brooks last year ($130). I’ve never spent more than $60’ish on walking shoes, but . . . man oh man, Brooks makes AWESOME shoes that are worth every penny! I’ve spent many hours shopping and running errands (5+ hrs), and my feet never hurt at all.
Great to hear how comfortable they are Linda! Thanks for the feedback!
