   Thanks! My son has been saving up for a tablet and this would be a great deal for him. Does anyone have tips on where to find a good case for these? Something secure as I’m sure it will be dropped.

  I would get one on amazon. They have the kid proof ones that seem pretty resistant to dropping/such. Good luck! 🙂

  thanks! I looked before and found the kid Fires that come in the case, but was hoping to buy this one and pick up a separate case. Do you happen to have a link or name of a kid case?

  Meredith, type into the Amazon search feature “kindle kid-proof case” and a few options will pop up. The first one on the page is a lime green one. We have that one, but in red. It works very well!

  That’s the case both of my youngest boys have as well and they have held up great. I think you could also search silicone case.

  Amazon is the place to go. The kiddie cases really work too. I’ve seen the ones I bought flung to the floor by the kiddies with no damage. I did also buy the screen protector as well which I recommend.

   Curious… I’m wanting a tablet just for writing. Does anyone know if you can pair a Bluetooth keyboard and use a word processing device with one of these?

  Hi Rachel- yes you can use a Bluetooth Keyboard with most Kindles.
