What age is the best for this toy?
I’d say 3 or 4 and older. I have more fun with it than my 2 year old! 😂
Amazon has it suggested 6 and older.
We have several sets of these. My two year old can build simple houses, buildings, balls, and I know 8-10 year olds who can build extravagant things out of theirs. It’s great for all ages!
How neat! Glad to hear kids of all ages can enjoy them! Thanks for the great feedback!
Are this same quality as Magformers?
Yes! I can’t tell a difference. We have both kinds.
I just ordered these, shipping says end of May thru mid June.
I purchased this set last time it was posted a couple months ago for $16.99. This is a great set! Love that it comes with a little carrying bag. I can’t tell a difference between this set and our Magformers (magnet-wise and size-wise). It’s only triangles and squares but 3 yr old still enjoys playing with it. The little instruction book is tiny, but has some good building ideas (and a few 3D builds like a ball…which 3 yr old thinks is really cool). I did take a sharpie and trace the two shapes and their quantity on the outside of the carry bag so we don’t lose any (hopefully). Highly recommend this set!
Thanks so much for the awesome review! We sure do appreciate it!
We bought these (I believe the other brand) whenever the sale was posted a while back, and for the longest time they got ignored, but I figured out you can use a metal pot (or lid or serving tray, ect.) and it gives them a new dimension. After a while, that kept getting in way/the pot went back to the kitchen, and I stuck them to the fridge… so now thats where they live, my (almost) 3-year old stacks them and caries them around, counts them, etc. (I really had hoped for more with them, they were kinda boring.) but I wanted to give ya’ll the hint, they are kinda neat as 3D fridge magnets, you can build little houses and cubes and such. 🙂
