Is the comforter good/thick?
No. Very bad material. I would not waste my money on this. I got for free using plenty points I had few months back and planning to donate as polyester material is very bad.
I agree with Amy. These are polyester (even the sheets) and made of very cheap/flimsy material. So disappointing. I returned it.

These are not top of the line, but for the price and the purpose of using iny guest room, I think they are a good deal. Also, not sure how anyone was able to use discount because in store, they tried 4 different discounts and it was not accepting it.
