  I’ve tried the original and the black bean. Both tend to taste mostly like salt in my opinion and I would never buy them at full price, but since I love hummus, I buy it when I can get the packs at a good deal.

  I love this product. Doesn’t taste like salt to me. I only use the classic and add lemon juice, cumin, and garlic in order to make it the way my family likes. Since it goes on sale a lot, I find using this to make hummus is way cheaper than buying tahini.

   Bush’s beans are super cheap this week too at Target with checkout 51 and cartwheel. I love this stuff, it makes about double what you would get in a premade container of hummus and with these offers, it will cost less than $1 for both the mix and beans.

   I’ve tried the roasted red pepper and black bean varieties and really liked both. I did not find them to be salty, maybe you need to rinse your beans/chickpeas first after you strain them!
