Not the best price. We had a 10×30 intex pool last year. This year, I wanted something bigger, so I went with the 15×48 size. I purchased our pool set with ladder, filter, cover and ground cover on 4/20 for $205 shipped with PA sales tax. I was actually surprised, because I was expecting only the pool, like we received last year from intex for around $100. It’s a different manufacturer, but appears to be the same quality as our intex from last year, if not better. I’d recommend watching the prices on these. The one I purchased is up to $250 now, but may drop again.

Thanks for the feedback Leah!
The reason yours was cheaper is because those type pools are an inferior product compared to the Ultra Frame pools. Night and day when it comes to quality. From personal experience, I would suggest not using the saltwater systems on these pools because the metal will rust and corrode. I just threw away my last one a few after 3 years use. Also recommend upgrading the pump as intex never gives you a proper pump. This an excellent price for this intex model (I just ordered one, thanks for the tip), ivebeen looking for several months and you won’t find a better price for everything that’s included.
Ours is 3 years old and still going strong. We bought the salt water pump and it requires very little maintenance. We only have it set up the summer months and take it down for our blustery winters.
If you are only using it in summer months it’s not even a year old. In Florida we keep ours going year round so the depreciation is a lot quicker.
Great to hear how well it has held up for you Elaine! Thanks for sharing your experience!
Can you leave this up in winter or take it down?
While many people do take down, some will winterize and leave up. We bought this used on Craigslist last spring for $100 (Ultra frame, salt water system, the whole shebang). It was already a little rusted on the frame at that time but we didn’t care. For $100, we would have been happy to just get 1 season out of it. We have to have water imported in bc ours has so much iron but we didn’t want to go through that again this spring. So we winterized and left it up all through our Illinois winter. It worked well and we have already got it up and running this year. If I had paid a lot and bought new, I probably would have disassembled for the winter to help keep the frame from rusting.
Would you need a privacy fence with this one?
Do you mean for home owner’s insurance? We did.
So the reviews for this pool are good, for people who have this one? I have been looking at reviews for this one on other sites and videos and everyone says the pump is inadequate for it and that’s the only problem they have. Lasts for years as long as you take care of it.
i have a different size of this pool, and the pumps they give you when you buy tend to be a little too small (not strong enough). I would recommend upgrading your pump- we went with a sand filter. You can always re-sell the pump you aren’t using on craigslist to someone with a smaller pool (so they can upgrade!)
Walmart had this exact pool for $269 in store as of yesterday.
Be sure to check with your city codes about fence requirements around a pool.
Also most HOA’s don’t allow above ground.
THANK YOU! I’ve been browsing pools for a couple years now. Finally decided to pull the trigger on this one. Thanks Collin!
We graduated to the 16 x 48 ultra frame three years ago. Also using sand filter and the salt water generator. The frame has started to show significant rust, but I still prefer the salt water generator. I am looking to replace the pool now with either the 15 x 48 or another 16 x 48. I’m also trying to come up with a way to seal where the frame connects together since that’s where the rust starts. All in all I am still pleased with the pool even if it is disposable after three years.
