  My Costco sells the toilet paper for $15.99…. a town over from me sells theirs for $19.99. Not sure what area you live in.

  Costco’s TP has over 400 sheets per roll (i think over 450, actually), and is just under 50 cents per roll. (Marathon or Kirtland brand both — sometimes my Costco has one brand available, sometimes the other, but both of those brands comparable to each other in size, price, and sheets per roll.)
  ALSO, the Costco ones are usually wider than store brands, so they take less sheets per use.
  These Charmin rolls only have 154 sheets per roll, so i consider this a very bad value.
  This Charmin packaging says these rolls are worth TWO regular rolls, BUT that would only be true if a regular roll is 76 sheets per roll. I don’t think any rolls come with only 76 sheets, so i don’t think their packaging or comparison is very true or fair.

   This may not be a good value for TP in general, but for Charmin it is a good deal. You can’t really compare Charmin to a store brand, no matter how good the quality of the store brand. It’s like comparing Tide to a store brand laundry detergent. They’re not the same thing.
