If you are a Harry Potter fan (or your kids are), the audiobooks narrated by Jim Dale are FANTASTIC! I’ve been listening with my son to all 7 of them literally on continual rotation in the car for the last year and we never get tired of them. Jim Dale is phenomenal and has a different voice for each character (and there are a TON of characters!) No idea how he keeps that all straight lol. The books are also very long as everyone knows and some of the audiobooks range from 20-27 hours! A wonderful deal for $15 each (and even better when you sign up and get 2 audiobooks free!).
Couldn’t have said it better myself! We love the HP audiobooks!! 🙂
Agreed! I’m now on Book 5–Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Excellent narration.
Thanks foe the suggestion! We will check those out!
Not heard Jim Dale version. We have the Stephen Fry version of Harry Potter which are fantastic
Oh awesome! Thanks so much for the review!
Yes! Another series I have started in the car with the kids is the “keepers of the school” by Andrew clements. A blend of history and mystery even I’m enjoying. The series would be way too hard for my kindergartener but she loves listening and has no problem following the story. So much better than radio or iPads in the car.
Sweet! Thanks for sharing Tina!
We get a new audio book from the library every 2 weeks. Love listening in the car with the kids. And free 🙂
Thanks. Love book narrations on long journey.
You’re welcome Claire!
