My son needs a new fan for his room but I’m not sure this will fit. His window is a standard size but its not a double-hung.

Yes, but it takes literally seconds to take out of the window. Once the rain stops, seconds later the fan is back in the window, pulling the cooler air inside. Great window fans!

I have been looking at these for years, but worry about security. I live in a bottom apt unit with a vertical siding window. Can someone break in with this? Just wondering before I buy one.
I would go to Lowe’s and buy a small dowel rod and cut to size to put at edge of frame above open pane, preventing it from moving up any further. Doesn’t need to be very large to be effective. Would cost maybe $1.
